This Auction Artist for Halloween will be: Shido Burrito.

After a bit of planning, coordinating and talking with the right people. I am proud to bring you an assisted Art Auction. I will be trying to coordinate with artists from other sites to bring you an art auction. Mostly held on certain events. Such as Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.. The goal of these auctions is to raise funds to help this sites 'Fresh Meat' and questers get closer to their goals, and just plain help them get dressed. All proceeds go to other users. None is taken for myself.
The way this auction works. I get a slot from the artist. I hold an auction here where the slot goes to the highest bidder. All auctions will run one week. With a 'preview day' before the auction goes off. I take no credit what so ever for any art provided in this auction. Hell, I make stick figures look like shit.
Winner of the auction receives style of choice available in post 4. =)

Shido is an amazing person! I have known her for about 8 or 9 months now. Her art is amazing as well as her personality. She is a very giving and caring person. Currently she is doing illustrations for a childrens book for the World Food Programme where the proceeds go to helping feed hungry children.
Shido Burrito is an eccentric but lovable anime artist that enjoys anime, manga and the occasional video game. Halloween is her favorite time of year and she is prepared to create for you a ghoulishly awesome work of art! Her favorite candy is Butterfingers.

They say the eyes are windows to the soul. There's plenty of eye on these chibis, but alas those windows leave no room for mouths. These chibis are great at gazing cutely up at you until you feed them a cookie!

These chibis are hand drawn with loving care, colored carefully with the ancient technique of Photoshop CS2 and created in your avatar's likeness, but way cuter because, let's face it, chibis are awesome.

So what if your avatar is full of angst and rage? No chibi can ever be taken seriously when it tries to look sexy, or is bloodied from battle, or seethes from anguish that burns within... but anime can. For those times when cute just can't cut it: go anime.

I think some people may be wary of you auctioning off someone else's artwork, but as a staff member, to those who aren't familiar with Bartuc, I'd like to say that Bartuc's a very reputable user and a great guy. :) So don't be afraid to bid. :)

You're welcome. :) Shido Burrito has really cute art and it'd be a shame for no bids to have been made because people were leery. ^^

You also have to contend with a lot of people who don't earn gold quickly saving up for Halloween... A lot of artists have a sort of 'sale' on their artwork during events, so the people who might normally bid are probably sitting on their gold. XD

Andd just to make sure, whoever wins the auction basically gets a slot in Shido's Gaian art shop but you pay for it? So the winner fills out the order form, sends it to you and you order from Shido? Just making sure I understood correctly xP
