" Alright." Finx looked at her schedule " Mind pointing me the right way?" she sighed.

"What's your first class?" Brenna asked.

" Vampyre Sociology 101" Finx blinked.

Brenna smiled, "me too"

" Well then I'll follow you." Finx smiled at her.

Brenna smiled back and started to walk.

Finx followed behind looking around the school in amazement. " Do we drink blood?" she asked suddenly.

Brenna shook her head, "Not yet, not until we're closer to the Change"'

"Oh good." Finx let out a sigh in relief "then I have time to get use to the idea."

Brenna nodded. "Yeah it is kind of a weird thought"

"What happens if you don't become a vampire do you go back to normal?" Finx asked.

Brenna winced, "You...die"

Finx turned a paler color and looked sick "Oh god."

"Yeah..." *Brenna said softly*

"Why would... what kind of goddess forces this on us and then lets us die?" Finx asked she had heard of the goddess that was suppose to be a vampire.

Brenna flinched", "You shouldn't...talk about Nyx like that"

"Well why not? It's the truth and if she doesn't like it oh well." Finx snapped " I hate her."

"So does my father..." Brenna murmured, "Except actually, he loves her"

"What do you mean if you don't me asking." Finx frowned softly.

"He used to be Nyx's warrior. But he loved her too much and somehow he made some kind of bad choice and got cast from the Other World"

"Oh...is that bad for you?" Finx wasn't sure how Nyx worked not being a religious person at all.

Brenna shrugged, "well if it hadn't happened I wouldn't exist, so..."

"Well I guess it's kind of good then." Finx smiled softly. "Why are we forced to become vampires?"

Brenna shrugged, "I think a lot of newly marked fledglings think its a curse, but later on, most think its a gift"

"I won't" Finx scowled
