Twisted Fate

For centuries, Vampires have ruled the world of darkness, installing fear upon all. They are an organized race, comprised of "houses" each house is ruled by a lord or a lady, and contains their followers who serve them without hesitation. The eldest lords and ladies make the rules, and lead the relm into their future and what will happen. These very lords and ladies over the past few centuries have been steadily pushing the boundaries. They have been allowing, almost promoting, the growth of the vampire race. But just as there is dark, there is also light. A temple has been formed by those who follow the word of God, they have taken it upon themselves to do what others are unable to, or will not do, to stop the advancment of these designated unholy beasts.

The two sides have been in a constant struggle, niether side willing to give an inch. Vampires have over the years pushed by going on blood raids, to which they slaughter entire villages. Priests retaliate by taking down entire houses of theirs in turn. Tensions only succeed in rising more and more. During recent times, vampires have begun making it their mission to gather and turn more vampires, as well as to hold meeting between heads of houses. It is thought by the priests, that the vampires are beginning to try and build their numbers, to build an army. In turn, they are gathering those who follow the light. It is unspoken, but a war is on the horizon. Vampires are sick of hiding in the shadows and being hunted by those they see as food and weaker than them.

They believe vampires are stronger and the future. They seek to take their rightful place within the land and to erradicate those that wish to do the same to them. In order to prevent this from happening, those assigned as hunters have been sent out to take down some of the more powerful lords. Once a lord is taken out, usually the houses will fall appart. Without a leader, many vampires go rogue, which leads to mistakes, or they find another lord. It makes it easier to take them down in any case. One of the more recent lords that have been targeted, is one that exists right within London itself. His power and influence within the streets is well known by those who walk them. He has menbers of his house all over.

The most well known is a young priest, who was turned when he was a young boy. He was taken in by the priests, and thus has become one in training. The higher ups in the vampire world hate him, furious that he is what he is. They view it as treason and him turning against his own kind, since he takes them out for a living. They have attempted to take him out many times, to fix the problem, but he has managed to survive. Some of these times it is questionable weather the lord who turned him helped him out or not. He visits this lord at times without the elder preists knowing in order to feed. This complicated relationship has worked, though it has caused trouble all the same, especially now.

For it is this very priest in training who has been sent to take the lord out. This causes trouble on both sides. During this time, more fights are beginning to break out between vampires and not only the priests but the humans as well. Both sides are waiting, for a move to be made by the other, while trying to justify their own actions in turn. Even though the vampire priest has been sent out, those above him are still unsure he will get the job done. His mentor has been sent with him, to keep an eye on him and as a back up plan. If the other is unable to do his job, the mentor has been commanded to take out the vampire lord and bring the young priest in training back to be delt with. The future and the looming war is riding on this mission...it is a game of life..and death.

3. PM profiles to me titled Twisted Fate, or they will be rejected, this is to make sure you have read the rules.
4. Yaoi and Yuri are allowed, Romance, etc within reason.
5. Follow all Mene rules.
6. Keep OOC in the OOC NOT IN THE RP. (A major pet peeve of mine that few seem to follow.)
7. Players MUST write a GOOD SIZED PARAGRAPH OR TWO PER POST. NO ONE TWO OR THREE LINERS AT ALL!
