Niev had to giggle at the other girl's excuse. Drunkenness was not common among leprechauns, but after she had left her home, she had encountered it many times. Usually it was with men, but she had met some drunk women in her travels. "Ah, alcohol, can be a friend or foe, eh?" she smiled at her, laughing slightly.
She watched the girl stumble towards the stairs, wondering if she should try and help her. Not that she'd be much good, as tiny as she was. She was not a very strong girl either.
Right as she tour her eyes away from the girl, she fell down the steps, landing in front of Niev again. "It's Niev. And no I'm not from around here, I'm just traveling," she told her, bending down in front of her. "What about you? Want to sit over at my table? It might be more difficult to fall down there."
