It's been a while since I wrote any fiction, but thinking about it... I suppose my style has always been magical realism, or a mix of both. My stories are usually set in our world but then something sort of fantastical happens. That, or the setting is so vague and unmentioned that it could be just about anywhere. I love me some vagueness when I'm writing.
