The nasty retort Adair had been formulating died on his tongue. The other didn't just walk back toward him. Adair found himself closer to the other than he wanted to be. Was it just him or was this situation getting real weird real fast? It certainly wasn't the way he thought the fight would go, but he had yet to pull away. He just gaped slightly then let out a tiny noise of irritation. "You have a funny way of playing around. What the hell is the meaning of this?!" he growled. He jabbed his blade at the other in a threatening, but still ultimately non-dangerous sort of way.
