Moral_Orel by Dino Stamatopoulos

Moral Orel is an American stop-motion animated television show, which originally aired on Adult Swim. The main character is "Orel Puppington", a student at Alfred G. Diorama Elementary School, who constantly tries to live by the Protestant Christian moral code.

I love this show. So glad it got sent to DVD, but sad that Dino didn't get to complete the series as he intended, since AS decided for their audience what they considered too dark to continue. The ending wasn't bad, but you know there should have been more stories before it got to the end.

Orel is my favorite character, he is just pure innocence, but he is also naive.

I love this show too! The first time it appeared on Adult Swim, I hated it. But recently, I've been watching it on the weeknights at 1 am. I really love it now. I'm sad there are only 3 seasons.

I don't know if it is "On Demand" since I don't have that cable anymore.
I haven't seen DVD of it yet, but I am sure I can order it if I can.

I didn't know it came out on DVD, but I'm happy it did. Great series. But yes, the ending did seem rushed.

I liked Moral Orel, got better near the end. Some of the episodes were quite funny and I enjoyed the irony of it.
I'm sorry it was ended.
Seriously why can't we have Moral Orel instead of "squid billies' , "hunger force", that other cartoon that keeps popping up when my TV automatically comes on and few others.

I agree with Claudia, Morel Orel is much better than some of the other cartoons AS has, the ending as sweet though, just rushed

I am not sure why AS staff decided that MO was getting "too depressing". I guess it varied in the ratings.

Moral Orel never really interested me. I kind of just stared at it not knowing what to think. ;(
But I do agree Moral Orel is a lot better than some of the other ridiculous shows on Adult Swim.

I love that show. I love all the irony and the characters. I still go to adult swims website and watch it sometimes.

I really liked Moral Orel. It was a funny show. :D Made me laugh and made me think a bit about religion. It also reminds me of Davey and Goliath.

Moral Orel was hilarious! I didn't watch it on a regular basis, but what I did see was awesome. Much better than some of the other Adult Swim shows on these days, for sure.

Yeah, that is so true Sizzla. Also, I kind of like the Squidbillies now for some reason. :S I miss Moral Orel though. :( It was so funny, and it had some points. ;)

Moral Orel was a pretty good show and it was darn gosh funny. to bad it's off the air now a days I some what miss it. but some of the ep's did tell you the right thing form bad things.

Morel Orel had some bad points to it now. :S Like that episode about the Rabbi. They treated that rabbit wrong.

The show basically makes fun of religion (Fundamental Christians in fact). :S It is funny, but it gets kind of old after a while, at least the final episode was awesome though. :)

It was a decent show, not one of my favourites though.
I would watch it, but I was not pleased with it. It was special, I'll say that.

Orel was so cute though, I have to say. -nod-

I didn't find it focus on one specific religious to make fun of it. It was focused on people in general and their behavior.

I can stomach most Adult Swim shows, but Morel Orel squicks me out a bit. I can't really watch it.

Moral Orel is the best show in the world, with amazing music, too. God, that shit's depressing.

I don't think the ending was rushed at all. All parts of the show are pretty precisely planned out, and they all have meanings. I loved the ending. It made me happy that Moral turned out so well. :)

Also, I love like, every show on Adult Swim, lol. Their target audience is pretty much stoners. XD

At first I really did not know what to think of the show but it was funny although some episodes I watched and did not care for too much.

Oh... now that I think about it, you're right. :)

Hm... The ending wasn't really rushed. If there was more episodes it will grow old like South Park did. :S Moral Orel ended at the right time. Maybe one more season would be ok. ;)

No, the ending wasn't rushed, so much as the new plot was cut short. Because you could tell it was going to get into some heavy stuff when it came to Egg-Lady lol. Luckily Dino and staff know how to pace a story. I'd even settle for some kind of movie-ish release, to at least make up for the missing season.

I loved this show, the Dad always gave me the creeps though.
