When I go shopping anywhere that has books nearby I get left behind too.
A couple hours later I look up and find everyone is gone. In fact most of the time their a couple stores over.
So it looks like we're in the same boat. lol

I hate going by myself... mainly because I don't really like to drive.
So I usually go with others but I end up splitting off from the group.

ahhh. I like driving most of the time. Going in the middle of the week is great, 'cause everyone has school and work. So it's really calm. :3

I don't mind it horribly and it is alright if it is a long drive on long stretches.
I hate driving in town though.

It depends on what town.
The town I live in isn't really bad but it is horrible for new people because there are a lot of one way streets. And everyone drives super crazy here.
Then St. Louis is horrible to drive in because there are so many drivers and there are parts that you really don't want to drive through because you are likely to be shot in and I always end up in them.
Plus I just hate having to pay attention to stop signs, people walking, etc.
Driving on back roads or highways/interstates you don't have to bother with them.

Ooohhh sounds nice. I hate driving the highways back at home. Everything goes directly to or from D.C. so it's always crowded with the government workers that absolutely HAVE to be on their cell phones and driving at the same time. And then they get pissed at you if they cut you off. D< Driving in small stretches is pretty nice, as long as it's not at the wrong time (i.e. mornings, evenings, weekends). And the old city is always messed up.
But somehow, I still like driving everywhere. I guess 'cause it means I don't have to rely on someone else for my transport.

ick, that does sound bad
I just love the really long drives.
If I really want to go somewhere I drive myself so I'm not really dependent on others.

Though really the only times I drive anywhere far away is when I go to cons so I am usually worried about being late so I end up leaving super early.

lol I don't think anyone's going to win. I'm thinking of going to New Orleans for a con with some friends sometime. Someone from my school works for them, and I think it'd be pretty cool. :3

mhm! We're a little iffy if we're going to be able to, though. It's not until August, but it would still be an expensive trip.
