My computer doesn't demand updates like that. It waits until I want it to turn off quickly.

I update mine when I need to get in bed so the screen gives me enough light to see my bed.

I do a mad dash in the dark. I know the house well enough to sprint full speed and not trip or run into anything.

I would but I sort of have a cat... so... tripping is always possible.
