But I would like to say anyone whose willing to do that to a person was not a true friend to begin with and that's on them not you. People are jerks.

Eh. I don't think it necessarily makes 'em jerks. None of us have the energy or the time to devote ourselves to each person who approaches us. Its just a sad fact of life. Best thing you can do is to not let it get to you and keep looking.

LOL! I can totally imagine some kids tossing a cigarette and before it hits the ground, your arrow spears it. Then you jump down from the trees and and land in front of the frightened kid as you coolly put shades on and say "Only I can prevent forest fires"
