IRL my friends and I are planning to show up at our little yearly Halloween shindig in Hogwarts robes; one of us for each house. I'm gonna be the Gryffindor student, because all four of us fall into Slytherin/Ravenclaw/Hufflepuff. I'm just the angriest Ravenclaw so they're sticking me in the red robe X'D

On Mene, I'm not sure what cosplay I'll pull out. Torn between Tuxedo Mask, Uryû Ishida, or Slenderman again. All of which are cosplays I've done in the past so X'D

yeah... im trying to change the situation for myself. everyday in every way i can.

same bsw life is tough though and likes to throw curve balls

yeah, im trying to stay focused on the things that have gone right and the things that are going right. and also creating beautiful and inspiring things so that people are inspired to give me money for them. lol.

not always easy selling art, people don't realise the time it takes.

yeah i know, but the people who do appreciate it are worth selling to.

I've been kinda sorta idly toying with the idea of doing lineart/ink shaded commissions online >_>;. But I have no idea how to Real World (tm) price my art at DX

yeah i dont know either. i have been selling my art for about 5 years now, and i get everything from "its so expensive" to "what the heck is wrong with you, you need to charge like 5 times what your charging!" so yeah... and i charge $100 CAD for a 16 by 20 landscape painting in oils.

dunno if that helps, but i find that talking to a lot of artists gives you a good idea, but not as good at actual buyers. talk to your buyers, see what they are willing to pay and what they would think is too much or a fair price., then see if you can do your art for that price.

It's so sad to see Menewsha so slow and inactive.

I'm not really sure on the pricing of art myself. I've never sold anything I've made before irl. I've only thought about selling some prints of my photography and maybe some drawings and paintings to earn some extra money, but have yet to try.
