Yeah, I like rock, but not the metal side, just 80's and rockballads and stuff, its a bit soft maybe :P, dont know if im in the right place ;)
The down side is most of my favorite bands are old and dont tour anymore.
Im a fan of BonJovi (dont really rock anymore :( but they still play the old songs)
And recently "discoverd" Europe and Scorpions

the Scorpions rock! it doesnt matter what type of rock you're into, as long as you're into Rock then you're in the right place!!

Well, I wasn't fan of the Scorpions untill I saw them at a festival last year, they are really great on stage, if you imagine how old they are you would be suprised to see them running and jumping on stage!
At that festival I also seen Europe, but only the end because they were at the same time as the scorpions :( so I missed my favorite song: Carrie
And ofcourse Aerosmith :D :O :D
I like Meat loaf to, but the songs are actually all the same :P

Aerosmith is a very good band!!!!! i like them! -giggle- they're really cool, i like the song "dude looks like a lady"

lol yeah, he's up there in age alright! i mean, the last time i saw them, they looked like they were all well into their 80s and still dancing around like children! It was quite amusing actually :D

He is 60. He only looks 80 because of his lifestyle.

i agree with the age and looks thing, just imagine being 60 and looking 80, that'd make me feel ANCIENT!!! :sweat:

I love my metal i do.

I've seen most of them bands live too..except, i was abit drunk during kiss, so i only remember the last few songs, and that was mostly fireworks going off and people cheering constantly xDD was brilliant though!

I haven't seen Nightwish yet either, but i shall be in August at Uk's premier metal festival, woop woop! xD

you're so lucky! i envy you my friend! truely i do! i wasnt old enough or even born just yet when Kiss was still touring and yes, i wish that i could see Nightwish live! that would be the best expierence in my life! that and seeing either Dethklok, or sentenced live as well is also one of my wishes!

I wasnt old enough to see Kiss in their prime either, so to find out they were coming to a Uk festival i was well happy :D

Whenever you get chance or money go see as many bands as you can, it's the best way to spend your well earned cash i say! xD

Dethklok is closely watched by the government and their shows are said to be the most brutal out of any metal band.

Lol, I know about within temptation & kiss, and heard about people talking about Nightwish in another forum I used to hang around (still havent listen to any songs)
But what I meant with old was compared to new bands. They are just really crazy running and jumping on the stage.

agreed, newer vs. older, you do see quite the diversity in stage performance for some odd reason

on the cartoon maybe, but i doubt the real life band are as brutal xD

honestly, you never do know because i do think that during their concerts, something broke out to where there had been deaths. But i do know, Ministry is closely watched by the government. That is another Metal band that isnt as good..

Yeah i've heard of them but im not so keen.

I do like the really heavy stuff sometimes, but it just depends on the band i suppose.

Do you like any viking metal? like Turisas/Moonsorrow/Korpiklaani ?

I love seeing it live, its so funny to take part in. instead of mosh pits people link arms and jump around like irish dancers xDD

i like Korpiklaani, i saw them advertised in my Metal Edge magazine. Honestly i think they rock and you have to be kinda in the mood to listen to them!
