Gentle and friendly flower-shop owner whose politeness seems to invite all sorts of speculation and impolite questions.
General Information:
Nalin is a slender 10.18cm (5'7") tall. He's a little frail-looking, though not particularly effeminate. Fair-skinned and burns easily in the sun, his eyes are a light blue, his hair dark blond with slightly messy fringe across his brow, jaw-length around his face, the shoulder-blade length at the back pulled back into a low, loose ponytail.
His clothing style tends to be casual, he usually dresses in paler colors like deep rose, tan, faded blue; etc. He often wears his red-brown Petal Paradise shopkeeper apron over whatever he's wearing because he tends to forget to take it off before he leaves the store.
Nalin is a kind, gentle and polite person; a little shy and is passive as long as he can afford to be. You would assume he has no temper to speak of... and he rather doesn't. He embarrasses a little easily and blushes very visibly. If he gets an idea in his head, it's difficult for anyone to change his mind. He can be very determined underneath all his outer-layer of passiveness. If he's learning or studying something, he does it with a single-minded intensity that might surprise those who are unfamiliar with it.
He was born on the island of Vile and has been a Menewsha resident since the
early Spring of 2008
Present Day:
Nalin runs Petal Paradise but that's just the commercial side of his little gardening empire, he also manages the Town Hall gardens for
Mr. Mayor where he takes delight in propagating rare and exotic plants such as the phoenix orchid.
He likes to stay fit and often jogs along the beach, he also enjoys walking all over Menewsha, both for exercise and in search of rare plants.
He has a number of friends but few that he's especially close to. He has a good professional relationship with Mr. Mayor which has deepened into mutual respect and friendship over the time that they've worked together, Mr. Mayor will often ask Nalin's advice with regard to his own garden which Nalin appreciates.
He's also very comfortable around
Magnus, who's calm and in-control personality he finds very soothing.
History
Nalin's history is a suprisingly closed book, it is known that both of his parents are dead but no-one knows why. If he's asked anything about his past he is always politely evasive and will never volunteer any information.
