Character Name: Niall Oswald

Good Stuff: He's very intelligent and good at strategy. He is a logical thinker and is good at separating his mind from his emotions.
Bad Stuff: He's about as unathletic as his sister and just as prone to forget his physical needs. He concentrates to the point of forgetting what is around him and losing track of time. He tends to be impatient with emotional people and people who refuse to be logical-- with the exception of his sister.
Traits: Loves chess and any game that involves planning ahead or tricking an opponent. Also enjoys (and is good at) anything to do with computers, math, or science. He's very quiet and introspective.
Magic: Niall doesn't believe in magic. If he thought about it, though, he'd realize his ability to tinker with computers and machines is beyond what he should be capable of.
Strengths: Niall believes that one can do anything with tools, time, and research. He does not give up easily.
Weaknesses: His main blind spot is his sister. He does not understand emotions in general. He isn't very loyal. He is also not very athletic (though he does not respect athletes and thinks he could be better than them if he tried).
Description: Niall looks a lot like his sister-- longish dark hair (curlier than hers) and blue eyes, slight build. Unlike his sister, he appears taller than he is. He has a long, dark coat that he is inordinately proud of, as it was a gift from a tutor he admired.
Bio: Niall is the twin brother to Niamh and believes he has to protect her at all costs. He was trained by tutors and has deep respect for intelligence. He was being groomed to take over control of the family fortune someday and is confident in his abilities as a leader (though he has never tested them). Niall is rich and knows how to handle money, though that skill is useless to him now. He respected his parents but did not love them; they died in a car accident at the time of the asteroid impact.
