They really need to make more original movies instead of just remaking things or adapting books. Film is its own medium and it has advantages and disadvantages over any other. For instance, a lot is lost in book adaptations because they have to trim for time...and rarely add anything that can only be done in film beyond pretty special effects to make up for it.

Where are all the secret foreshadowing background events? Or the funny ones for that matter!
