Blue Collar Comedy Tour

Blue Collar Comedy Tour

Posted 06-09-2008 at 03:04 AM by Seiki Nova
I'm watching the Blue Collar Comedy Tour right now because my brother was watching it and he left just a minute ago to go to the movies with a friend who I don't really trust, but that's not the point. Anyways, I was just walking through the living room on my way to the kitchen to refill my water bottle, and the Bill Engvall portion of it comes on and that's my favorite part of the entire thing.

I'm still a little nervous about using my laptop because I don't want it to break down on me again.

My mom is already getting started on working on Halloween decorations; Halloween is in October. It's June. I think she may be going a little overboard with her whole scheme for this year's decorations, but she's not really one to have much of an eye for design. I'm going to be working on the decorations for next year because she finally agreed to let me go about doing it on my own rather than just helping her organize everything in the yard. I have a good idea for what I want to do, but I don't want to start doing anything just yet for it. It's too early. Besides, I have to prepare for England next summer. I really need a job to start saving for that.

Speaking of which, here's how Louise and I are going to do it as of right now. Our plans aren't permanent by any means, but we're hoping to have at least a good outline for what we're going to be doing for when we go. Louise is going to go back before me for one week to visit her family, and then I'll follow for the second week of her trip where she'll show me around England from a citizen's point of view rather than just a dumb tourist. And she even told me that not a lot of American's are that good as tourists so that I have to be really ready for how things work there. Anyways, back to the plan. I'm going to be taking a plane out there in her second week, and rather than staying with her family which I think would be rude, I'm going to stay in a hotel that she tells me to stay in somewhere in London for a week. I know it's going to be expensive, but I'm going to go in halves with my dad to pay for the whole trip so it won't be all that bad.

We're going to go all over London the first two days, then she's going to take me somewhere else that she really likes the second two. On the fifth day, I think we're supposed to be going to Paris for a day (she really doesn't like this idea, but I really want to go!) and then we'll be back then. The final day I don't know what we'll do. We'll figure something out though.

I'm really excited. And well... yeah.

I'm off to read again. I'm going to finish Eclipse tonight and start on The Host.
