with as much coherence as a deaf man,
for holding you is akin to cradling a dream,
one I cannot see and cannot hope to stand.
With as much fluidity as a toddler, I command,
torrid words and baited breath,
there is but one I cannot reprimand;
a man by the purest of names, Seth.
I've gotten lazy with poetry... I can't even finish this sonnet correctly without it sounding like melodramatic romantic trash. I can't do anything by pure method anymore... I'll try being content with the feeling... If this ever ends, I may die. Forgive me for being so weak...
I'd forgotten this place for a while during all the commotion of moving in with my boyfriend... Apologies are in order, I suppose. I'm sorry...

but just as passionate, as fevered. as strong,
to even endure something as timeless as death,
and I pray for us to be as everlong.
