Information :[indent]Viktor has been staying at the only inn/tavern in Tallengrove for a while. The townsfolk find him strange as he tends to spend quite a lot of time in the forest, apparently looking for something. He claims to come from a rich family and inherited a great fortune when his father died. Whether that is true or not has never been confirm, but since he has no problem paying for extended stay at the inn, the townsfolk have no trouble believing that story.

His reason for being Tallengrove is that he is seeking out a castle that, from many ancient tales, suggest its location is somewhere near the town. Since the castle can't be found by magical means, it makes a good hiding place from people (who might be searching for him through magic). Viktor knew of the castle and its heritage of being owned by one of the most powerful wizard family in known history, though its location had been lost in time, though a few very old texts hint at where it might be located, and it took him several years to uncover its location. No one knows whatever happened to wizard family or why they abandoned the castle, and most of the magical community have completely forgotten about its existence.

Viktor met Nick while searching for the exact location of the castle. Viktor wasn't very happy with this meeting, finding the man to be a nuisance and distracting from his own projects and research. He knows of Nick being a werewolf and amuses himself by watching Nick fend off his fiancee. He never really reveals what he is up to and his motives behind his actions are somewhat questionable. When Cesar arrives, Viktor finds him to be quite curious, since Cesar is the first wizard that he has met since Viktor arrived in Tallengrove. Looking more into the man, Viktor becomes increasingly interested in Cesar after seeing signs of the unusual magic that he's capable of.[/indent]

Information :[indent]Six months, according to him, Cesar's Master died, though he has no memory of how it happened, only that she died. Since then, he has been wandering around the world, feeling lost in his purpose. His Master always seemed to know exactly where they should go and what needed to be done. Without his Master, Cesar has no idea where to go or where he is needed, so he wanders until he finds supernatural activity. He has this odd habit of hearing the ticking of a clock, that no one else seems to hear though he tends to think nothing of it. He has an arrow that appears from time to time on his left hand. The arrow changes directions all the time and sometimes leaves a burning feeling in his hand.

At the beginning of the story, Cesar arrives in a small town called Tallengrove. This is where he first encounters Viktor Dirge and Nick Warner. He hates Viktor right off the bat, finding the man's oddly smug attitude around him irritating. He isn't too fond of Nick after their first meeting, annoyed with his overly friendly attitude. He isn't in the habit of making friends as he never stays anywhere for very long, so he sees no point in attempting to befriend the people he meets.

Cesar hates how short he is and often feels anger toward people who are taller than he. He has a love of spiders and secretly - or maybe not-so-secretly - gushes over wolves. Prior to the story, he spent a long time in the "underworld" where demons dwell.[/indent]

Information :[indent]Selene is the eldest daughter of the current Alpha of the werewolf pack lurking in the woods around Tallengrove. She is destined to marry the next Alpha, whether she likes him or not. She has played a large role in helping to raise Nick after he was bitten by a wandering werewolf. Despite being like an older sister, Selene tries to convince Nick to return to the pack after he leaves them. She believes he would make a better mate than some of the other males in their pack. She also worries about Nick hunting alone with all the killings that have been happening in town. Information :[indent]When he was six, Nick was bitten by a wandering werewolf that was quickly chased off by the pack. He never learned the human identity of the werewolf. After that he was taking in by the local pack of werewolves who wanted to train him not to be controlled by his hunger for human flesh. By keeping him hiding away in the woods, they succeeded in stopping him from attacking humans during the three nights of the full moon. When Nick turned sixteen, the Alpha male of the pack announced that Nick would be the next Alpha and marry his eldest daughter Selene. Nick immediately sought to runaway from this engagement.

It wasn't long after he turned eighteen that he first ran into Viktor. Nick hoped that Viktor would help keep him hidden from his pack. Sadly, Viktor didn't care enough to help him with his hiding. Nick loves his pack mates. He just doesn't feel like he makes the best Alpha. And the idea of marry Selene is weird to him since he views her like an elder sister. Nick already knew about Viktor being a wizard. When Cesar arrives, Nick takes interest in him, but he doesn't realize immediately that Cesar is a wizard. He always had a habit of sensing unusual things and claims that Cesar is "different." He isn't sure how to explain it, but he just knows that he has been waiting for Cesar to come there. He plans to leave with Cesar whether the man likes it or not.[/indent]
