I'm not ready for Xmas! Slow it down! I didn't even do my spring cleaning! Who's running this calendar?!

Mr x put up the tree lights. I have to do the rest. Decorate it. The tree is losing its bright white color. Don't know why. Happened to the last one too. Guess there's a shelf life.

Read that Starbucks is opening up a classier Starbucks reserve. Then went to yelp and a reserve shop opened up in the next town. I looked at the pics. Lots of tech guys. Too chichi for me.

I have to see a notary public. Get a document notarized. Checked library and bank. Nada. Next, there's city hall and UPS store. Going to try city hall. It intimidates me. I've never been there. So, as shrink said, you do things that frighten you. For me, the anticipation of the event is worse than the actual thing. Like jury duty. I dread it so much. Yet last time I went, the cafeteria had great Joe! So I plan to go this week. Just get it over. Then I can deal with Xmas.

Just finished it. About the mentalist, remember? Sheesh, what a ride. One of the better books. Surprising things kept popping up. Because I've read thousands of books, yet this one kept me guessing. It was like an onion. Layer after layer of lies and deceit. Who is bad? Who is good? You're right. You're wrong. It was crazy! It was like riding a bucking bronco. Like a house of mirrors. I'm confused. Have to think about the story. And I always wondered where writers write. Well the author said he writes on a commuter train. I don't know if I'll reread this book. It's like assembling a rubix cube. And I'm not good with puzzles.

So soon?! Mr x is watching yet again another sappy hallmark movie. I, on the other hand, have been ensconced in my thriller book. Layer upon layer of lies and deceit. For 20 years. Everything this guy thought was true was a lie. It's now hitting the fan. # wipes eye. It's a page turner. Things pop up suddenly. I like. Trying to savor it. It's a library e book. Harder to peek at ending. I used to do that. Spoils the surprise.

Today was wash day. Heavier load cuz of cold weather. No more sleeveless tops. My beloved denim jacs. Anyway, decided to look up laundry blogs. I like doing wash. The miracle transformation from dirty to clean. Gotta love it. So I found one. She called herself a laundry nerd. She had articles about washing machine reviews, how to clean a down jac, natural detergents, eco friendly things. I quickly realized I was in over my head. I just like doing wash in a simple way. I was surprised how deep you can go.

Got up in my closet today. Brought down new café maker. I have a huge pile of journals I want to dump. First read tho. My time in Frisco.

So, Mr x stumbled upon an, I love Lucy, Xmas special. It showed some new scenes! And I've seen practically every one. And it was colorized! I've never seen it in color. It was... Strange. Funny 50s colors. Orange couch, the paintings on the wall were in color. Lucys hair was so Orange! Now I didn't mind it in black n white. But you have to be in the mood for something so retro. Maybe the Now Generation would appreciate it in color.

So I had a salt bath. Used a new bath gel, sugar cookies. But it had no smell because it's so old. I have too much stuff. Working on it tho. I simply added some perfume. My eyes are itching like crazy. Took an allergy pill. Folks are burning fireplaces. The pill may give me wild dreams. I'll tell you tomorrow. So I had the yummy yam... And more chili:( I'll have to sit up awhile. I wish we had ice cream. Mr x saying he would like big salami sandwich.
