So last night my hair was wet and cold. Mr x thinks blow drying hair is bad, so I put a washcloth on head, then a denim bucket hat over. It wasn't cutting it. So I got a large ski cap with huge pompom and put it over the bucket hat. The denim bucket was already filled out with my head. Putting ski cap over made it huge. The pompom was sitting up. Alright...i looked like one of the beef eater soldiers. Mr x saw me and collapsed laughing. He said it was a big hat. He called me, hoss, from bonanza, with his 20 gallon hat. Ok, enough with the levity. Mr x has this aviator ear flap hat. When he wears it, I always call out, Mr fudd! Mr fudd!

Had a very tiring day, as expected. No chili tonight, thank you.

That's right, dazz. Have a big bowl of chili, avocado, and trail mix cookies right before bed. Lie supine for a couple hours, and you, too, may enjoy the gifts of acid reflux. A C I... D space R... E F L U X. Acid reflux. Acid reflux. Forever let us hold our banners high! High! High! High!

Fortunately a bottle of the pink stuff resides in the fridge. Took a spoonful of sugar to let the medicine go down, and sipped a glass of water. Now I'm drinking Joe. It's going to be a long day.

But, come on. We can push these 8 hours out. Come, squeeze my hand. And at the end we'll have a lovely weekend! I read, the home depot, CEO or tao or something Loves her job. Every day it's a game to beat the competition. That's so wonderful to have a job you love. Sometimes, tho, it's like a M.A.S.H. unit. You hate the job, but respect your colleagues and your work. I learned that lesson in Frisco. I had a black/white tv, thankfully, cuz you wouldn't want to see M.A.S.H. in color. I was painting a security barred door in protective silver paint. My hands were numb from cold, Izzy help:), but I was replicating the mash edict.

Suddenly I'm feeling rushed. Tree not decorated, no gifts gotten. When I was dumping clothes the other day, I had one of those QVC shows on. This one selling jewelry. I was once addicted to these shows, for company. I liked hearing the sales talk and looking at the beautiful jewelry. And I wanted none of it. I have plenty of jewelry.

So Mr x had a paranoia fit today. His direct deposit check wasn't in today like it should. So wait a day! No... He has to call the company number and couldn't get thru. They were experiencing higher number of calls. Call back. So he did. Again and again. He's what iffing me like crazy. Finally company recorded message apologizing for delay. Mr x was getting into to contact labor commission! He's only like this under these kind of circumstances. It's very trying.

Hart to hart on. Just had chili and avocado. Yum. My hairs wet and cold from bath. Going to put hat on. Night!

Didn't eat in time and now I have a headache. Darn diabetes. I call it Ch. For c and h sugar. Had a big salad Mr x got at tjs. Trader Joe's. I've lost a tiny amount of weight this year. Like 4#s. And I exercise 30 min daily. Obviously not enough, and I overeat. I'm on the cusp of a normal bmi. I need to lose 20#s. But I'm not obsessed with it.

Gfs working in town and had to leave kitty alone for a week. Luckily she has downstairs neighbors that are noisy. Hopefully he's not too unhappy. He could also be mad at them for abandoning him. Guess I'll go em her now.

Wasn't in the forecast. Very gloomy out. It's getting me down. Think I need a cuppa. Hit grocery. They had Xmas music playing. That was nice. Selling Xmas wreaths. That smelled good. Got some yams. So good with butter and brown sugar. I tried a great yam dish once. Had marshmallows and brown sugar. Yum!
