Hello! My name is Jenny. Okay, that's not what it says on my birth certificate, but I'm not really a "Jennifer" kind of person. I'm a nursing student, with only two semesters left to go -- I anticipate graduating in December of '09, a year from now! I do wish we could take classes over the summer for Nursing, but the program at my university isn't set up that way. Boo. Also? Hiss.

I kind of stumbled across this site by accident... there was an advert on a manga site I was reading, so I clicked it, and here I am. Perhaps I'll start putting up pieces of the novel I'm working on. It's a young adult fantasy... no, don't start rolling your eyes, yet, I'm a good writer! Honto desu!

So I'm sitting here looking over the art threads, taking note that most artists lately only take 2 commissions every month and usually the commissioners are the same people every time. Either forcing the artists to draw silly neko OC's that aren't very original or maybe a angelic girl, oh wow thats creative.

But anyways, it makes me wonder if holding a contest is actually a good idea. Sure I'll get the normal rushers and the so so entries but I just know that the artists I really want will come up with some stupid excuse like "Oh wow, all the other entries are so good! I don't stand a chance" Dx

It's like, goddamn, will you shut the fuck up! If you don't wanna enter then don't even bother posting. I'm so sick of humble artists. It's just so annoying.. Geez...anyways.

So whatever, I'll still hold the contest and have some amazing prizes and probably get shit from it. Angsty branny is angst. <3

I'm working on kissing scenes myself. I've got a few but I suck at drawing. I'm in a class though and working.

So I stumbled across this place by sheer coin-ki-dink. There was an ad, so I clicked. I also am on Gaia, but it's nice to sort of, get away to a smaller atmosphere from time to time.

That is one thing though. I'm so used to the Gaia way, in which threads are here and gone and you can just barely keep up with them. I'm big on RP and on Menewsha, it's a completely different experience. Things are a bit slower, more laid back and more more literate than many of the ones I've been a part of on Gaia. That's cool though, I just have to challenge my brain to slow down a bit. It also gives me more time to write up the posts, put more into them and not have to worry about someone (or three someones) having already posted replies and you've moved waaaay past what you were dealing with making it all moot to begin with. That nice long descriptive post is pointless. POINTLESS! *ahem* Anyway, yes. So I just have to regear myself towards being well, relaxed and easy-paced.

It should be interesting. Especially with my Gaia-trained, ADD brain.

It's been like watching a movie on fastforward, just a blur of pictures, conversations that pile into one, incomprehensable to understand, let alone remember.
And all for what? I've wasted my time in the last 3 months. I can't believe what an idiot I've been. And yet somehow... somehow I'm still throwing my time (and sanity, if it was ever present) away and joining sites like menewsha?!
