Hirouku didn't know what to do. He was loosing the only family and his closest friend, he felt so unwanted, and at the very moment... 'Suicide!' popped in his head. "If I’m not needed anymore, I should just die rite?" he thought coldly to himself. Then out of his schoolbag, he took out his utility knife, he lowered in his wrists, he tried to make the gashes as deep as possible. The Next morning as Kari was about to leave for school, the phone suddenly rang, it was Toushi, he had told her what'd happened to Hirouku, she rushed to the hospital as fast as she could. When she got there he was still unconscious. "I'm glad your here" Toushi said with relief. "We found him just in time last night; luckily the gashes weren't too deep." Afterwards, Kari’s face saddened. She sat into a chair next to him, then clutched his hand tight, and leaned against him. Just then he slowly opened his eyes, and looked down at Kari and smiled with relief.
The very Next day at school, everyone noticed the bandages around Hirouku wrists, especially yuki-chan. She quickly ran over to him, well aware Kari was right next to him, and shoved her aside. "OMG! Are you okay?!" he just stared at her, then brushed her off and walked away. Kari ran after him as he left. Then clung to his arm as the two were walking to class, then they ran into Rio. "EHHH?? What happened to you??!" Rio suddenly burst out noticing the wrist bandages. "Ahh...i'll tell you later rio-kun, now's not a really good time, Kay?" Kari said hesitantly. "Ne, ne, Hirouku-kun, are you sure you’re feeling okay?" Kari asked him practically brushing away Rio. But she really was worried about him. Then as they walked into class, to their surprise, Kanna-sensei wasn't there, though Hirouku didn't seem to mind. All period long everyone was whispering about Hirouku. Later on at lunch Kari went to go find Rio-kun.
As she turned the hallway she noticed Rio-kun talking with yuki-chan! She couldn't hear their conversation of course, but as yuki-chan was leaving, she popped out, "Heeyyyyyy! RIOOOOOO-kUNNNN!" she said smiling. "Ah! Kari Chan, so? Can I hear about what happened to Hirouku now?" he said bluntly. "Well...ummm...he...sortaa...slit his wrists yesterday night...well that's what I heard from toushi-san" she said stammering. "NANI!?!?" he said in such shock. "Well I should get going, after all it is lunch" Kari said walking off. Rio follow after her, "Mind if I join you, I brought ramen" he said. "Ahh...suree...” she said. As they were walking to the courtyard student thoughts of the day before popped into Kari’s head. "Omg...h-he loves me..." she thought to herself. Now thinking about it made it feel awkward walking next to him. Then as they were walking they ran into yuki-chan again. "Ah! Yuki-chan, Konichiwa!" Kari said. "Ah...konichiwa, Kari-senpai" then he turned to rio, "May I speak with senpai alone for a second?" then he looked at her and nodded and walked away. "Ne, yuki-chan, what did you need to talk about?" she said. Yuki glared at her. Then Kari stepped back a little as yuki was about to talk. "Dammit, you little bitch, stay away from Hirouku-kun!!!!" she said furiously at her. "n-nani....." she said trembling in shock. "You know you heard me! Stay away from him! All you do his hurt him!" She said glaring furiously at her. Kari, in such shock just stood there, and then when she actually thought about it...she actually
Believed what she'd said to her. Yuki, a little satisfied just walked away. Kari slumped to his floor about to cry.[/FONT][/COLOR][/CENTER][/SIZE]

[SIZE="1"]Kari was still worried about Hirouku the next day at school, but then she got even more worried when he didn’t even show up. Neither did kanna-senei. Even though she showed up for school early as usual, hoping Hirouku would show, she slowly walked to class as the bell rang. She was practically distressed all day. And Rio could tell. And since they had a sub in homeroom, Rio went over to sit next to Kari. "Hey, what's up? You don’t look so good today." she didn’t respond him, and he got even more worried. Then it was lunch, and Kari headed over to the back of the campus, and up into tree to collect her thoughts. Rio quietly followed her to see what was up. ~sigh~ "Geez, Hirouku, why didn’t you come today...." she mumbled to herself. Though lucky enough, Rio had caught what she said. Now he had an angry, almost jelous-like expression on his face. As he watched Kari quietly he thought to himself. "I wonder if I---" but before he could finish his thoughts the bell had rang.
Later on after school, Kari had to stay a little while to help out the student council. She slowly glimpsed at yuki-chan as she shuffled through papers. The suddenly out of nowhere. [[most likely just the lack of noise]] Kari burst out. "Yuki-chan do---" but before she could even finish talking yuki just walked out of the classroom. On her way out she had noticed Rio waiting outside, she gave him a cold stare and whispered "Keep Kari-senpai away from Hirouku-kun, understand?" was all she said and just walked away. He quickly turned around to confront her.. But she suddenly disappears. just then Kari stepped out of the classroom. Kari stared at him and asked him what he was doing here so late. Without answering he quickly grabbed her and pulled her into a hug. Then he burst out "I-I l-love you!" She instantly blushed. But then suddenly she thought about what happened with Hirouku yesterday, she was so confused. Then she pushed him off, then mumbled "I-i’m sorry...” and ran off!
Without realizing it, she'd run right passed Hirouku. Quickly realizing she was crying, he grabbed her before she was able to run too far off. "What’s the matter?" he asked with a worried look on his face. Without saying anything she ran up to him clenching his shirt, and started to cry even more. Not knowing what to do or say, he just stood there and held her till she had stopped crying! Then when she did finally stopped crying completely, out of utter curiosity, Hirouku then again asked her what had happened. "Rio said....said...he...he...l-liked...me" she muttered. She looked like she was about to start crying again. Hirouku just stood there in utter shock.[/FONT][/COLOR][/CENTER][/SIZE]

[CENTER][COLOR="Green"][FONT="Arial"][SIZE="4"]Chapter 5: Sensei’s Secret [/SIZE]

[SIZE="1"]As more people arrived for the festival, the choir students were setting up in the music room, though waiting for kanna-senei to arrive. "Omg, where's sensei? She’s supposed to be helping us practice as our conduct--" one of the students asked another, but before she could finish, Kanna-senei came into the room slamming open the door panting. "I’m so-o sorry for being so late everyone, it seems I’ve lost track of time" she said trying to catch her breath. Everyone just stared at her in amazement, and thought to themselves "Sensei has never been late...ever!" Then outside, Hirouku was searching around the crowd looking for yuki, but to his surprise found his father! He frantically ran after him through the crowd. Then when he finally caught up to him, he grabbed his shoulder, "TOUSHI! What’re you doing here?!" he said almost yelling. "Oh, Hirouku, i'm here to see your lovely school, why else?" he said with a smirk on his face. Hirouku thought to himself, he knew his father had never cared about him or how he did in school none the less, since his mother died. He could tell toushi was lying through his teeth, suddenly before he could ask anymore questions? Toushi just walked off, since Hirouku was so deep in thought he didn’t notice where his father had walked off too.
Little did he know, he went to see Kanna-sensei in the music room!? for a little while toushi stood by the door and watched as sensei conducted the choir, then a moment later he waited for her outside. Then after the first practice was done, she had dismissed everyone, but before that she made an announcement. "Okay everyone, that was a good rehearsal but please meet back here for another one in about an hour, okay?" she said before properly dismissing them once again, outside in the hallway some girls from the choir were whispering and giggling to each other, "Omg! Who’s that guy? He’s so-o hot!" as they all walked off, Kanna-sensei stepped outside, noticing toushi outside. "Ah...T-toushi what are you doing here? has Hirouku-kun seen you yet?" she said blushing a little" He smirked at her, "Yes, I’ve seen him. But it seems he’s curious of the real reason to why I’m here. Since he knows for a fact that i’m not here to see him. Why?" "Well, what if someone found out ab--" before she could finish her sentece...he grabbed her and pulled her into a hug. "Its okay, no one knows that i’m his father, and he couldn’t care otherwise" "B-bu--" "I said it’s okay, ill protect you no matter what happens, okay?" He said in a soft sincere voice. She blushed and replied with a smile, "O-okay".
Outside, Hirouku was frantically, now looking for Kari. Suddenly as he was searching through the crowd, to his relief. He’d bumped into Kari. He grabbed her by the hands and pulled her out back. "Kariiiii!!!!" he practically screamed in her ears. "Geez, don’t yell. what’s up?" she said in total annoyance. "MY DAD IS HERE!?!?!" HE said once again practically screaming in her ears. "WHAT?!?!?! Why is he here? Of all places...?" she said in total shock. "You think I know, I mean you of all people should know I have no connection with that man what-so-ever, but I know he’s not here for me that’s for sure." he said arrogantly. They both curiously wondered about the epidemic. Then suddenly Hirouku turned around to find his father behind his back, toushi smiled at Kari. "Hello Miss." he said kindly. "Oh...Hii...” she said firmly bowing. Suddenly Hirouku burst out "TOUSHI! WHY THE HELLL ARE YOU HERE?!" he said arrogantly. "Well...i’m here to see a certain someone" she said with a smirk on his face, which was all he said and did as he walked off. "Dammit!" Hirouku yelled furiously, banging his hand into a tree. "What the hell is going on here!?!?!" Not knowing what to do Kari just placed her hands on his shoulders to try and comfort him, too afraid to say anything.
Toushi went over to the stage, as the choir was setting up for their performance. He walked over to sensei, "Toushi you shouldn’t be here right now" she said pushing him off the stage. "Wait. Why do I have to leave?" he said stopping both of them. "Because...what if Hirouku-kun or even Kari Chan were to--" she said not finishing her sentence but had a sad look on her face. He pulled her into a hug again. “I told you earlier didn’t me? That everything’s going to be fine, ill protect you no matter what happens." "s-sure...” she said highly unsure.
Back outside, Kari suddenly grabbed Hirouku by the hands and dragged him over towards the stage. "Come on, sensei’s conducting the choir for the festival, let’s go wish her good luck!" she said smiling at him. Then suddenly as they approached the stage, Kari Suddenly stopped. Hirouku wondered why shed done so. "Aye! Kari, what’s up?" "Umm...maybe its best if we go back, sensei looks busy..." she said in a trembling tone. He walked to where she'd been standing, and as did she, he stood there frozen at what lay ahead. they were both in utter shock...Toushi and sensei were...hugging... o - o just then as they both pulled away from the hug, sensei turned around to find the two standing there. "S-sensei...." Kari said in a low trembling voice, and then toushi interrupted her. ".....it’s not what you think" he said "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN ITS NOT WHAT WE THINK! YOU TWO WERE HUGGING ITS OBVIOUS THERES SOMETHING GOING ON! DONT EVEN TRY ME WITH THAT B.S.!" Hirouku yelled furiously. Toushi put his hands on Hirouku shoulder, then Hirouku brushed him off, "Don’t touch me you bastard!" he said utterly furious in a cold tone, glaring at him. Then sensei went up to him and said in a low tone. "Please, Hirouku-kun don’t me mad at your father for any of this. We truly are sorry for not saying anything, but we didn’t really know how to bring something like this, and we didn’t want to cause problems. WE truly are sorry." without saying anything Hirouku walked off giving his father a cold look. Too afraid to leave him alone in such rage Kari went after him. Just then Sensei was called up to the stage to start the performance.[/SIZE][/FONT][/COLOR][/CENTER]

[CENTER][COLOR="Green"][FONT="Arial"][SIZE="4"]Chapter 4: Yuuki’s Confession [/SIZE]



[SIZE="1"]It was the day of their annual spring festival, all the committee members were making last minute preparations; while our heroine was trying her utter most hardest to avoid seeing Rio-kun and Hirouku-kun all day since yesterday's incident. She had so many mixeda emotions she didn’t know what to do, but she knew for a fact that she couldn’t run away all day.

"OMG!!" she thought to herself, she'd seen Hirouku-kun, but the odd part was yuki-chan was gazing at him from behind a tree!?! But jus then came Rio, him and his impeccable timing as always. "Hey Kari! Where ya` been? I've been looking everywhere for you ^ ^" he said smiling at her. "Geez, he's acting like what happened yesterday never happened, this feels so awkward!" she thought frantically in her mind. "Umm...well.....I was...HELPLING WITH THE LAST MINUTE PREPARATIONS..." she suddenly burst out. "Oh..really now.." he said chuckling.

Suddenly the thoughts of yesterday re-laid in her mind, her face saddened once more, and she looked like she was about to cry. Then Rio patted her on the head well aware of what was wrong. "Its okay." he said in a soft tone smiling at her. Just then out of nowhere Hirouku Popped up. "Yo! What’s going on here?" "Yo, hirou-kun" Rio said smiling. Hirouku looked down at Kari; he could tell something was up. "Aye, don’t I get a hi from you little missy?" she said in annoyance. "Ahh..Sorry, Hi...Hirouku-kun...” she said practically whispering. "Hmm..What one earth is going on with these two..." he thought to him self in utter curiosity and a little jealousy.

Then Kari had turned around to leave, but to her surprise, there was Yuki-chan gazing at Hirouku-kun again! "What the hell is up with her!" she thought to her self in an almost jealous tone. Kanna-sensei happened to pass by Kari. "Hello Takaishi-san, what's the matter?" "Ahh..Nothing sensei..." she said nervously. The she turned around to see if yuki was still there but she vanished. She had an angry expression, due to the jealousy!

Then later on that night, as the spring festival was about to start. Yuki-chan had come early to check out the decorations and surprise Hirouku-kun was there. Suddenly She got nervous...her emotions were going berserk. Then suddenly out of nowhere she burst out "HIROUKU-KUN...I LOVE YOU!" when he turned around to find yuki-chan almost crying on the floor. He ran up to her...but he didn’t know how to reply. More people were arriving and yuki-chan quickly got to her feet and wiped her tears... "..." yuki ran off to the other side of the campus.[/SIZE][/FONT][/COLOR][/CENTER]

[CENTER][COLOR="Green"][FONT="Arial"][SIZE="4"]Chapter 3: The Forgotten Past, Revealed ![/SIZE]


[SIZE="1"]As the meeting for the spring festival ended, Kari headed out of the classroom, and to her surprise, Rio had been waiting of her there. "Umm, would you take a walk with me; there’s something I need to tell you...” he said in a soft tone.”uuhh..suree.."

They headed over to the park, Kari looked nervous as he was about to speak. "Umm..kari.." he said hesitantly. "Do..you..umm...r-remember..me?" he said even more hesitantly. "Ehhh...?"She said in somewhat confusion. He could tell that she still hadn't remembered and his face saddened. "Ash...well...um...kind of..."she said in a soft voice.

"B-but barely though..." she said.”Well, would you like to remember..?" he said somewhat smiling at her. "U-ummm...sure" she said in a little hesitation. A Few moments later, he had just finished telling her the whole story if that day. shockingly she started to cry. "i-i d-did that to you...." she said still crying in utter devastation.”S-so, you really know about my other side....." she said, and she could barely look at him without feeling any worse.

"It's okay Kari, I don't blame you for what happened I know you didn’t mean to do what you did." he said in a soft tone smiling at her. "B-but..." she said still tearing a little.”It's okay!" he said patting her on the head. Though she'd stopped crying her head still faced the ground. "A-arigatou..Rio-kun..." she said, just barely whispering. "Hmm...Come on! I'll buy you some tea and deserts!" he said grabbing his hand and dragging her into a café close by.

"Are you okay...?" he asked her in a low tone. "Ah...yess, I’m fine now...b-but... I was wondering, why yhu didn’t say anything when we first bumped into each other..?" she asked curiously. "Well..."he started saying, then suddenly interrupted by Heroic! Just then Kari's face had saddened at the thought of Hirouku-kun not knowing about her other side. And the fact that Rio-kun was one of the closest people to her besides him.

Hirouku stared at Kari and noticed she was troubled by something, so he bent down and whispered in her ear, "Are you okay...?" she suddenly blushed at the shock of the utterly close contact. "Ahh...umm...Y-yes...im fine" she said stammering. Though she still had that saddened look on her face. "Well I’ll leave you two alone now!" he said walking away and winked at Kari.[/SIZE][/FONT][/COLOR][/CENTER]
