Specifically, about cheese protein degradation and how it affects cheese texture and flavor. That's the life of a food science grad student for ya - I learn all about science as applied to food.

Food science and culture is extremely interesting to me, but I don't intend to stay a student forever. Just one more year, and then hopefully, I'll have a real salary again! Then I can pick up some of the things I've been wanting for a while now - like an HDTV, a XBox 360 and a bunch of other geek stuff like that. For right now, being on a grad student stipend..well, I suppose it builds character, but I don't expect to be on it forever. :P

Anyway, nice to meet you all. I'll probably write more here from now on. =)

I wanted to pick up a few more recruits for Fashion Victims and so started a thread up in the event forum.
Mwha >3 Lucky for me I soon found a resident artist who is great!
Unfortunately GAIA's event is on as well. It's hard to balance out time so I've decided to give up on the GAIA event. It only goes on for two days after all ...

Anyway. The art I've recieved so far are both freebies from the event forum. I love them :3

It started with me getting up at 9:33AM after laying there for a good 40 minutes. I was at my Mom's so I wasn't really sure what I was going to do. We had no school because of Prom but alas, I am not 10th+ nor am I going out with the older guy I like *cringe* so I had a free day. I had already sort of made plans with my friend, Elizabeth. We talked on the computer and she said she was leaving soon. I gave her boyfriend directions to my Mom's. They picked me up and the adventure began. First off, we stopped at Wegman's and we all got those Japanese drinks with the glass marble in them. Then we went to Border's where I got Death Note Vol. 13 and Liz got a few manga like, Fairy Cube. We went to the mall by Border's and tried on sundresses and Liz got a brown shirt. I liked a purple flower one that made me think of tea parties but didn't get it. (till I went back today :insane:) I left my Japanese bottle in the dressing room and they lock. A person working there threw it out. I climbed under the door to check. We went to the other mall nearby and went to Hot Topic cause Liz wanted some Fairy notebook. (which she discovered when she found a sheet of it while we were getting the paper out of the recycling bins in recylcing club.) Of course, the Hot Topic didn't have it and the blue-and-black sweatshirt I wanted there was $40 bucks :O Liz and her boyfriend argued about where to eat in the mall at the food court so we went back to the other mall to Applebee's. I got these nachos but they had peppers and made it taste horrible. We then sat in the car till we thought "Kohl's!" We tried on binikis. (Notice: Not Liz's Bf) Then we saw the Nardia movie. Afterwords it was 9 and the car's engine had a mental breakdown and we could only drive 5 miles till we pulled over. We got a ride from Liz's Boyfriend's Dad and stepmom. Which, they made sure to open the two front windows a good half an inch while smoking the whole ride home.:sarcasm:[/COLOR][/FONT]
