[CENTER][FONT=Verdana][SIZE=2][COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]I don't know how to describe how I'm feeling right now. It seems that in the middle of all this happening what with the software change and all that, I find myself rekindling friendships with people who I've cut off from myself for so long because of my own resentment. As unsure of myself as I am in times like this when I feel awkward because of how things are working out, I want to draw back again away from all the uneasiness that I feel with just life in general - the stress, pains, repressed feelings - and bring myself back to a place where I feel safe from my own emotions.

I know, I don't mean to sound so emo right now, but its just how I feel.

I find myself missing things more now too. I haven't quite thought of my position on the staff since I was fired, but you know, I miss it. It doesn't help that a great deal of friendships that I'm not just rekindling stem from my experience being on the staff and working with the people I worked with. They were always so kind to me even when I wasn't to them and that was quite a lot it would seem. I never really.. tried to do any better? I don't know. But anyways, I miss my position. I miss being there to help out with everything that I possibly could on the site. And now I regret everything that I've done and I know that there's no coming back from it.

Its a funny thing, dealing with silly emotions. How long has it been that I've removed them from my very being not letting myself see what matters.[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT]

Faeries in Love

Sea foam green, summer orange, candle flame blue,
Magnificent wings unfurled behind her willowy figure
Delicate as the autumn leaf hanging on a branch.
She took to the air, floating on the rose scented breeze.
Flower to flower she flew,
Drinking the syrupy nectar in the cup of her hands,
Her tiny ruby red mouth, the perfect shape of a bow,
Giggling as she became drunk on the juice of blossoms.

Midnight purple, sun-kissed gold, iridescent white,
Glorious wings fluttered above his petite yet muscular form
Hovering over each bloom with the grace of a butterfly,
He delighted in watching her, looking on with intense violet colored eyes.
Possession and obsession.

A song drifted on the air,
The sound of angels in a time of glory.
Warmth glowed and pulsated with every breath,
A golden hue glittered and hummed through the trees.

He caught her hand as she whisked by him.
Feather light kisses on her palm,
Her laughter tinkled like bells on a string.
Small yet powerful arms surrounded her,
Gathering her close to his cinnamon skin.
She breathed in the scent of him,
Delicious, fresh and inviting.

In circles they wavered, weightless,
Their bodies spinning and twirling,
Until all that could be seen was a splash of multicolored light.
The Earth shuddered with their passion,
Embers of luminosity showered down upon the meadow.

Electricity arced in semicircles
As they winged pair floated downward.
Gracefully landing on the velvet bedding of a petal.
Entwined in each other,
Their sighs like dripping honey
They fell into the melodic slumber of lovers

I've just been so absorbed with this whole new forum software and all that jazz that I've actually almost forgotten to check Perez Hilton's website (and that's telling you something because I check Perez probably 40 times a day). Only reason I remembered today was because I went into my exchange thread and saw the link in there haha. Yeah, I'm a loser haha.

So anyways, here are just some overall comments that I feel like posting in light of the new forum software and features that I've explored!

Profiles; first off, let me start by saying that I'm thoroughly satisfied with them. They give you so many options (though its unfortunate that they're not CSS compatible) like visitor comments, buddy lists, profile pictures, albums, everything really. It contains your Mene-life all in one single webpage! How freaking sweet is that! Unfortunately, it's prone to change, and as I have set up a temporary profile color scheme, this will all be changing whenever I figure out what exactly it is that I want to do with it haha!

Games are fun - I can't seem to draw myself away from Tetris for very long though to try out the other games because Tetris is really the only game that I'm good at. I only go until I get the 50g of course, and then quit and start over. I don't mind the high scores thing so much because I'm not really interested in flaunting my scores or anything. But let me tell you, I'm so mad at that Chopper Challenge game. I'm not good at it at all haha.

Love the notifications thing. So much more helpful than what we got on the last system (which was nothing by the way).

There's so much more that I could talk about, but frankly I don't want to be sitting here typing for a freaking hour just to describe my thoughts of the new site. Overall, I'd say it's not bad. Some things could be changed, but its still early. Who knows, maybe it'll turn out to be gold!

My house smells like roast pork right now. It's a nice smell, seeing as I'm a carnivore. 8DD Sorry, PETA-ers! I like my salad too, though. (: I'm craving salad from my favourite salad bar.

I'm glad Mene has more games to play. I don't feel like posting a lot of the time, so it's nice that we have an easy way to earn gold. And they're so much more fun than fishing. x) I need more gold to buy all of Sho's [I]La Cosa Nostra[/I] set! <3 The easiest (and least time consuming) game for me is Tetris! The pause button is handy for when my mum comes in and goes ARE YOU DOING YOUR HOMEWORK!??!?!?!?

In other news, [URL="http://www.menewsha.com/forum/showthread.php?t=55978"][B]The Bathhouse[/B][/URL] (joint exchange thread) has reached 2000 pages! But no one really knows because they don't show the lasttest page number in the exchange forum. And the thread title isn't updating. Dx
