[I]There are many different methods for finding the gateway to Other, as there are many different names for that place. In attempting to reach it, more paths, both well-word and untrodden, are discovered. These pathways take many forms, and are notalways even recognizeable for what they are at first sight. Some even resist acknowledgement on close inspection, but most are firmly rooted in the desires of the traveller, and thus are known to those who take them.
