| spunknic | spunknic This new book is trying my patience. It sounded promising. A woman fleeing from her past ends up in dead end town. Meets guy running from something too. But the woman has spunk. There's some Mary Tyler Moore scene with her boss, ed asner. Meeting for first time, he says, sounds like you have spunk. She smiles in shy agreement. Then he growls, I hate spunk.
I hate spunk, too! So far, it's her first day waitressing. Some pest lothario rolled in. She didn't take offense. She bent his thumb back. Cute. A woman with tude. How attractive. And this guy likes her!
I don't know how much more of this book I can take. But I like the one horse town they're in. It's a religious book too. Sassy wench already finagled into going to a service.
Mr x has northern exposure on. It's a good show. I'm thinking I'll not watch the new yrs merry making. It's kind of over the top for me.
It's spelled, Lebowitz. | | Comments | | Total Comments Comments | No comments have been made yet |
