| fireside chat | fireside chat It was a wild and wooly night in my faire town last night. A rain storm was a brewing. Kind of windy. During the evening, lights went out briefly about 5 times. Each time, it blows all the clocks. Then around 10 p.m. Lights went out for good. Suddenly we were plunged in complete darkness. Mr x had been heating up some Progresso soup. He managed to scoop it into bowls and brought it into living room. In the darkness I managed to find the soup. I stuck my hand in it. Well, we ate by flashlight. Eating in pure darkness was strangely thrilling. The soup tasted better. By flashlight was more normal and not as fun. I use candles so Mr x lit one and put it on mantel. Amazingly, it low lit the entire room. So we had little house on the prairie talks about candles and taking advantage of daylight. Mr x has extensive experience camping. Me, never. | | Comments | | Total Comments Comments | No comments have been made yet |
