heat wave

Oh yeah. 90s. Not fun. My head feels like a balloon. Soup was chicken with lemon orzo. Think we won't replenish stock. Too hot.

So, because of reading animal farm I've been reading Russian history and all the revolutions. Tonight read English history. Seems similar. Lots of fighting, wanting to be king. They say you should know history so you won't repeat the bad, but it seems an endless repetitive cycle.

I'm reading a new book. Some mystery with witches. Well, the main character was born to a family of witches. So she's a witch. I don't know how they get their powers though.

Time to forage in the cold fridge.
