batty weather

But I'm not complaining. Only about 60* today. Soup was chicken with rice. I did desky for 4 hours. Very peaceful. Finished my gold glitter candle. Weeded my candle box. Got a new one in the wings. A peppermint stripe one. Mr x was painting the outside of house.

Yesterday saw my pal bike guy for lunch. The one who likes motorcycles. He got a red truck. Haven't seen it yet. So we hit the Cajun restaurant. It was really windy. Couldn't find a parking spot. They're building all these buildings, and city is getting tighter and tighter. Across street from restaurant was a row of buildings being built. Last year was a beautiful strip of empty land.

So hadn't seen pal in 8 months. The menu changed. Prices went up slightly. I had the shrimp/crayfish and gumbo. Great jazz music was playing. The wait staff were great.

Tomorrow I see Mr go. We're hitting a Mexican restaurant. Going to have the tostada. Think I'll have a hot cup o Joe now. Brr. Oh, baseballs on. All afternoon a hart to hart marathon was on. Cool retro beans!
