I still wanna blog xD

Well no one gave me a subject T-T oh well xD I'm gonna blog out a bloging blog everyday regardless! You shall fear my blog! It will be a tool of oppression a tool to remove your freedoms and brain wash you into....er no it won't ^_^;; ignore all that! >_>;; anyways no subject and I just beat gears 2...so eat gears 2 review! 0.o

Well now where to start...hm well I'll start by saying it's a good game but I ain't goin crazy over it. I wouldn't even say it's better then the first. Too me the first Gears of War was an innovative new kind of shooter. Sure it gave you next to no story and expected you to read it's back story first (Kinda like an old school NES game xDDD) but it always created this sense of urgency. Like your not just on a stroll through enemy territory, running around wreaking havoc. No, your race is fighting a losing war and is on the brink of extinction facing a foe that is far your superior.

Gears 2 did not create this sense of urgency for me...at all. There were barely any emergence holes popping up (Holes where the enemies would come out of that could open almost anywhere. You could throw in a grenade to close em up, or kill every enemy that came out...they're what you saved your grenades for xD) or split off points where you actually helped your partner shoot things he couldn't get an angle on so he could then hit a switch for you yadda yadda yadda. To me the story mode was very cut and dry point A to point B and yet again huge plot holes are left starring you in the face.

Now I will say Horde mode is epic! All it is, is you and a buncha friends fighting off increasingly large waves of Locusts. That's it just fun and simple....not much other to say then that xD

All in all Gears 2 is a good game and a definite buy if your into online multiplayer. Here's hoping Gears 3 ties up all these little loose ends xD
