[COLOR=Teal][FONT=Comic Sans MS]So there is an increasing number of reports of young girls and boys getting tricked into meeting older guys and then either disappearing or coming home hurt.

We all should do our part to keep this from happening. After all, it could happen to our best friends.

I think I'll try to put together a list of things that might help, maybe even turn it into a guide.

Don't give out your real name.
Don't tell them your home phone number.
Don't tell them where you are.
Don't be afraid to tell people to leave you alone or use ignore.
Don't forget to enjoy your time online. Sure there's jerks out there but there are also nice people wanting to hangout and chat.

Do try to keep as secretive as possible.
Do tell people your real age. Some people know better than to mess with minors. If not then report them.
Do tell them you're not interested. Maybe they'll take better to the direct approach than to hints.
