[LEFT][SIZE=2]Okay, just so you all know, unlike what i did on Gaia, I will NOT post ALL of my letters to Jerry. Seeing as I started up in December, I'm feeling a little lazy and don't want to repost all those letters...AGAIN.[/SIZE]

[INDENT][SIZE=2][B]Letters to Jerry:[/B] Back in December, on Christmas Day, i received a LAPTOP for a gift. Elated by the fact that my parents actually listened to my constant nagging on wanting one, I named my Laptop (( with the help of a few friends )) Jerry. After Jerry the Mouse from "Tom and Jerry".[/SIZE]
[/INDENT][INDENT][SIZE=2] A few days later, I found myself locked in my room, fuming. My little brother and a friend of his had ticked me off to a point where I was sitting on my bed, Jerry in my lap, with Linkin Park blasting out of my stereo.[/SIZE]
[/INDENT][INDENT][SIZE=2] Just before Winter Break had started up, my English class had read a play script over Anne Frank. My English teacher also gave us the opportunity to read a book that contained the contents of Anne Frank's diary. I checked out one of the books, hoping to find out more of the mysterious girl that had died near the end of World War II.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=2] Throughout the whole book, Anne had written not only diary entries, but letters. As a matter of fact, every single "entry" was labled at the top "Dear Kitty". And throughout the book there were pictures that Anne had put in there. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=2] Thinking about that, I got an idea. I opened up a word document and started typing.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=2] "Dear Jerry," I wrote. And then started a chain of letters I hope to continue for years to come.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=2] After typing that letter, I managed to cool off. From then on out, I began to write letters to Jerry, confiding in my very own imaginary mouse, who was actually my laptop. [/SIZE]
[/INDENT][INDENT][SIZE=2][B]Writing Nuggets:[/B] This started in Reading Writing Workshop (( RWW )). Mrs. Neely had given us the assignment to write a short story, base don one of Ray Bradbury's writings. The Lake.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=2] Now it didn't actually have to be based off of the story. Most kids wrote something completely different. I know I did. I replaced the lake with a bay. And the character with a girl I had come up with and been itching to use. Cable "Jax" Lexington. Thanks to her empty background, I was able to form a whole life for her, and make a story that I hope to continue. Maybe even publish.[/SIZE]
