New Mene, New Braces, Mean Mothers

[FONT="Trebuchet MS"][color=ROYALblue]I will be brief talking about the new update, as every other blog has already commented! I will just say that I love the art on the homepage - it's exquisite. Not so sure about the art at the top, the mayor looks a little off. Overall, I love all the new features, and the fact that threads look more separated and the forums have more structure. Thanks a bundle.

I am writing this whilst running my tongue over studs of metal which were cruelly fastened to my teeth on Monday. The pain's pretty much gone now, but my diet has been limited. The thing I mourn most is the fact that I have been forbidden fizzy drinks! (Or soda, as 75% of Menewshans would say). Seriously, they're like nectar to me. But I am sure I can have some occasionally, if I clean my teeth afterwards... as long as I don't have to abstain from fizzy [i]totally[/i] for 18 months, things should work out fine.

In other news, summer's on its way! The trees are singing the birds are swaying, and there's a more agreeable lull to the air, rather than a bite. The other day I celebrated the weather by buying an ice lolly (A "Popsicle" for those only fluent in American English) and walked happily along, licking it with great pleasure. I passed a mother who was walking with her two small children, and as soon as their greedy little eyes saw my twister, they both expressed a desire to have one too - [i]now.[/i]

The mother, in response, gave me a look so dirty it would've been unacceptable to a dung beetle who'd really let itself go.

On another note, exams are on the way, very, very quickly so I shall be trying to abstain from the internet, if not fizzy.
