Saw a new fancy cup of Joe is going for $18. A cup. That led me to peruse amazons shiny shelves. One pal raves about his French press. Seems kind of messy to clean, tho. Then there's pour over. New fangled coffee method. Basically you pour water over the grounds. There was this nice stainless steel one. Looks easy to clean. But I just brought down a one cup drip maker. Me mum must've hit a sale, cause she gave me the same machine a few times. But for times, like camping, where there's no electricity, a pour over plus ground café, hot water from the camp fire can produce nirvana. Of course, I have no intention of camping so the point is moot. But, it's something to consider.

Alas and alack, I did not work on le taxidermy. I shoveled my way into closet. Found some books and shoes to dump. I have a lot of stuffed animals. They are hard to dispose of because it's like you're throwing out an old friend.

Going to try on my cargo short tonight. Last time it wouldn't button by about 5 ridiculous inches. Mr x commented the cashews are indeed dwindling. He got it at Costco. I comparison shopped Amazon and their price beat Costco. For the moment. Amazon has fluid prices. They change like the frickin stock exchange. Drops, surges forth. Nutty. Hey, I made a funny! Think I'll go out on a high. Night!

So delicious to take a bath listening to the gentle drip of the rain. And it's warmer. But I heard the wind may kick up.

Just had din. Overate again. Le sigh. Ended with m n m peanut candy again. That and the cashews are dwindling. They seem to fit my diet. Yesterday Mr x asked if I was losing weight. I'll know for sure when I try my beloved cargo shorts on. I wear leggings now, but I used to wear cargo shorts. I love the pockets. And I wore a boys size. Alright, the largest boy size! But still. Then the lost years of indulging in donuts from Safeway and buckets of ice cream led me to the sunny, stretchy shores of Leggings, U.S.A.

Been reading the book about the gifted girl. This little man appeared out of her book. She's going to a gifted school. Kids with magical abilities. Ooh! And she seems to be the savior. But doesn't know anything yet. Already they're using unfamiliar names for things. This is what I found maddening about SciFi books. I hope the book is good. So far I like it.

Yup, it's raining off and on here. Not the dreaded storming. Just had my snack of cashews and m n m peanut candy. I restrained myself cuz Mr x is here. By myself, I struggle with restraint. And just finished 25 short Sherlock stories. Mr x is fiddling with his kindle. I didn't work on taxes. Rats. Had to do wash.

I lost my temper last night... In a dream. This creepy neighbor from my childhood was there. I was giving him the stink eye. But then his 2 daughters went into my backyard to play on my trampoline or pool table or something. I righteously stomped back there and exclaimed loudly, get out! You have some nerve... I think I woke suddenly then. And had to revisit the memory of that neighbor. Can you put things out of your mind? Unpleasant things, I mean? I have trouble. Sometimes I'll start thinking something then utter, Stop. Sometimes it works. It doesn't help that I live in the town I grew up in. I drive by my old schools, my folks house is 2 blocks away. One day I gotta move away from here. Anyway, they say you can't do things in a dream that you wouldn't do in real life. So I guess it's in me to be able to speak up if I was wronged.

The original one. I like it. Well, I cut my hair 4" today. And when I washed it, it was wonderful! It's still long, but a lot easier to tame.

I wrote out the final taxes. Tomorrow I'll proof. I do find slip ups. Went into my closet tonight. Going to have to clean it again. I can't believe I'm sitting here in a sleeveless shirt. Warmer today cause it rained.

That's the book I'm reading. Don't know the year, but a circus comes to town. They mentioned francs, that's French. But I thought gephetto sp was Italian. Anyway, it's ok so far. Pin is bit rash and quick to anger. Dislikes work and study. I don't know if this author is the one who wrote the original Pinocchio. Come to think of it, I never knew there was a Pinocchio book. What a blockhead I am! Sentences like that abound, because he is a marionette.

I have a lil tum ache. That's unusual. It's this weather. I'm not thriving. At least I won't be pigging out tonight. Earlier I was looking at exotic foods on Amazon. They sell dried grasshoppers! Jumping jehosephat!

Wish Mr x wouldn't have to have tv on every frickin day. One can go mad. He just turned it to the music tv station. Much better.
