Rain fizzled out here. Supposed to be a week's worth. I'm not seeing it. # impatiently taps pink wellies. But, it's not bitter cold:) the hedgehog was spotted shadow boxing, so another 6 weeks of bristly weather.

I'm adhering to eating by the Ch meter, which shows I really need to eat hardly anything. That's fun. Coffee with lil almond milk and splenda takes me hours. I've tried lots of tactics on the diet roller coaster. Once I was into slim fast that you mix with orange juice, once I bought this super nutritious green shake. It gunked up my mixer. I don't know if I like the word, smoothie. Sounds like oily salesman. Once I was on a pineapple, peaches kick. I'd buy these huge cans at the warehouse. This was before I knew I had Ch. I'm not that fond of fruit now. Except watermelon in summer.

I like to read animal stories in the news. Where man helps them and vice versa.

Actresses talk about how they're always hungry. Can you imagine having to keep preternaturally thin just for your job? And they have those esteemed craft tables that they can't partake. I feel like I'm shrinking away. Only in my mind. What's hard is the maintenance. It's a fun challenge to lose, but when you reach the goal, it's hard to stay there.

Guess I'll take my salt bath now and vape sweet vanilla.

A thread in my neighborhood web is very popular. A neighbor, who is Muslim, wants to have dinner with folks who agree with the ban, or who'd like to simply meet a Muslim, and just talk, politics or not. It's gotten positive response.

This pal of mine in Frisco wanted to get Joe. I've known him few years. He's into baking. But never wanted to meet till now. I said maybe when weathers better. I'm restricting myself from driving in rain now. And I can't do coffee shops. I cannot read the menu on the wall. I can't see Macs menu. It's so tiring to have to explain. I have to have whom I'm with read me the menu. This eyesight thing is my persistent disability. Glasses since 2nd grade. Why I chose not to have kids. One is limited when you can't drive in this society. Or read chalk boards, menus. Those with good sight be thankful. Something you take for granted I have never had.

My Ch result came in. It was slightly worse. I was confident it'd be better. Good wake up call. Think I have to get used to hunger pangs. I should go to bed not full. What's that they say? Eventually you get over masochism in pursuit of others, and live for yourself. Think I need some salmon cans. Has no carb.

Another night at ye ole homestead. Just rode bike. Yesterday got Ch test. Ouch. Mr x held my hand. After hit the bank. There was a farmers market going on so we walked it. I got a chicken tamale. Waiting for Ch results.

Watched Mary Tyler Moore reruns yesterday. Such a different time. I saw an article where someone called her character, plucky. What a great word.

Got my bank statement so can get on the taxes. Got Mr x the last two northern exposure cds. He keeps raving about it. Got myself more of the color changing tablets for myself. And a big bag of m and m peanuts. Well, nuts are protein, aren't they? I just can't control my sweet tooth.

Mr x found a country music station on tv. Very nice. I used to be a fan. Till I couldn't take the stupidity of the DJs anymore. The most moronic jokes and talk. Speaking of talk radio, I read an article about Delilah. Very popular DJ. She takes callers on the radio. They have heartbreak and romance problems. She gives mini pep talk and will spin a platter specially designed for them. It's terribly schmaltzy. I can't take much of it, but the music is good.

I was in tax land again. And reading Sherlock. Tomorrow go for lab test. See how Ch is going. I think it'll be ok, because I lost some weight. Then bro wants to go to lunch. I'm not keen on going out, but he can't come here. He and Mr x have an uneasy detente.
