I like to think of myself as one of these people. And I have to admit that I'm not always a happy person. Some times I have a lot of difficulty getting over my negative emotions. But I think that keeping a positive attitude, forgiving and moving on are important. I don't have the energy to stay upset at myself for long.

I have the strong desire to look up again, right what I've done wrong and help make things better again. Sometimes, that's all it takes. I seek smiles for everyone. Because it is the joy of others that brings me happiness.

Oh well. Maybe if I work hard enough and get a lot of aspiration points, I can buy the Elixir of Life and give my Sims more days :3 That way, the second kid'll become an adult, find his/her own place, and the parents will still be young! I have grown to like those two and, being a Sims 1 Veteran, I don't really like the prospect of aging them. This is because: a) one of the sims looks just like me and all that hard work making her look like me will go to waste (as well as making the husband) and b) they're kinda my very first Sims 2 sims, so I don't exactly want them to die. There's a lot of customization and specific little details that go into these characters, so yeah :sweat:

But that's okay, Rosie and the second child will carry on the generations, and the grandkid's'll have immortal parents :cool: It'll be like [I]Tuck Everlasting[/I]: "I'll be seventeen 'till the end of time!". Yeah :lol:

Oh yeah, while I'm at it, my one Sim is a few days pregnant. She is with child, so if you have any name suggestions for boy or girl, please let me know :3 (btw, I'd prefer suggestions for both genders because you may never know. Don't worry; they won't be twins ;) ). I am eagerly anticipating the baby's arrival >w<

[FONT="Trebuchet MS"]Hello there, I am Ehnvy, and joined Menewsha just yesterday. After a good nights sleep I'd like to recap on the first day here.

It started off fairly..complicated. I created my account and apparently Mene doesn't like my german mail provider. I never received an activation mail, not in my inbox, not in my junk folder. I PM'ed Insomniac and only half an hour later I could finally start exploring Mene. Thanks Insomniac!

Once able to actually explore I ventured into the forums first, making my very first [URL="http://www.menewsha.com/forum/community/fresh-meat/108264-new.html"]thread[/URL] here. Many lovely people responded and welcomed me.

Once I had introduced myself I went to the other forum sections and got posting to accumulate a little bit of gold to buy that kickass shirt I'm wearing. And during one of my stays in a rather helpful thread [B]Ferra[/B] gifted me a Heaven Kitty, which is actually the only item I really want on this site, haha.

I accumulated a total of 64 posts in mere hours and I believe only 4 of them were on the gaming tables. I've made a friend [VO] and met many lovely people and I'm so happy I joined during the event, I'm having great fun participating!

The games, well..I did play a couple of snake games but I had hoped for more. They're the same games you see on any other site. Hopefully there will be original ones in the future!

That about sums up my first day on Mene, with hopefully many more exciting days to come :insane:[/FONT]
