[B][INDENT][INDENT][INDENT][COLOR="DarkOrange"][SIZE="1"]I'm watching Pirates again for like the millionth time right now. It never gets old : D[/SIZE][/COLOR][/INDENT][/INDENT][/INDENT][/B]

[B][INDENT][INDENT][INDENT][COLOR="DarkOrange"][SIZE="1"]As some of you may know by now, I went to the midnight showing of Twilight last night, and I have to say that I was fairly impressed with the likeness of the movie to the book in general. I think it would be best to start with what I didn't like and get around to the good stuff later.

Firstly, Kristen Stewart is a horrible actress. She may look the part of Bella by many, but she's totally not right for the part. She may be able to act in her own way, but she could not portray the character of Bella nearly as close as the book describes her. I found her to be much more physical than Bella ever was, and she kind of looked bored a lot.

Second, the sparkling was lame. You barely notice the sparkle. I was expecting a hell of a lot more from that since its a big part of why vampires can't go out during the day. I didn't like the shimmer sound that came with the sparkle either. It wasn't necessary. I think it was added to enforce the effect, but ended up not working out very well.

Thirdly, Robert Pattinson's accent leaked a lot. It wasn't too bad, especially since I prefer his American accent to his regular one, but it was just kind of noticeable throughout.

Fourthly, they changed too many bits of information that could totally have been left alone. For example, apparently the change can take place in minutes, and not days. And Jacob was only given 20 dollars to go and warn Bella at the end rather than getting that car part for his Rabbit, which was never mentioned. Also, Billy could drive.

And that's kind of all I had negative thoughts about. FOr the rest, I think it was pretty good overall.

Most of the actors did a good job in portraying their characters closely to the book, even if they didn't quite look as physically close to them as they could have.

The storyline was kept really close to that of the book, and I feel that overall they did a good job with it.

Right now, I'm hitting a really rough patch of good old real life. I have so many things to think about from the various tests I have in the next few weeks to wondering if I will even have enough money to pay for school to the physical pain my mouth is in. I'm completely overwhelm by it all.

So I'm taking a little hiatus. I need to completely refocus my life. I need to study for final exams. I need to learn the material that I could very well possibly need for the rest of my life. There are so many things I need to do in so little time. So I need to just take a step back and truly re-evaluate my life and where I'm going with all this.
