Daisy Cakes for a Pirate

Posted 11-21-2008 at 01:31 PM by Strude (FAKE_____[ ♥ ] P L A Y)

Here are some characters I created a little while back.

First we have Fauwk (F-awk) like fuck but with an aw sound! I dunno, it was a name I randomly muttered and somehow it stuck and I couldn't see her as anything else.

Next we have Fauwk' lesbian lover, Jetta. Who is older then her, but not by much. She is a bit of a whore, sleeping around for her own gain. Weather she hurts Fauwk or not. Their relationship isn't solid, nor was it really mutual at first. They're runaways, they escaped the grasp of a crazy woman who skins harpies alive for their feathers. The two were trapped at one of her (my villain does not have a name yet) skinning farms and found companionship in one another. Then choose to escape with each other. Then ended up traveling with each other, dealing with their bad habits and traits. While continuing to seek love and solace in one another. It's not so much love hate as they simply need one another to keep themselves balanced.

A poem.

Posted 11-21-2008 at 03:45 AM by Soki-Kun

This is a Emulate Emily Dickinson's poem i had to do for an english assignment. Her original poem is called There's a certain slant of light

There’s a certain atmosphere,
Rarely on afternoons—
That tension, like the pressure
Of clamorous tunes—

How painfully or immense it gives us—
We can find no answer,
But expressional differences,
None but where the butterflies are—

None may accept it—any—
‘Tis the rejection despair—
An imperial clash
Sent us off to cloud nine

When it comes, the heart listens—
Shadows—hold their breath—
When it goes,’tis like the distance
On the look of affection

OW.

Posted 11-20-2008 at 07:51 AM by Wordstreamer (When did we get a Pajama Event?)

So yeah. I bought an exacto knife today (yesterday, now). Useful things to have--at least in theory. I lost my old one (I think that I got rid of it, honestly, because the blades kept falling out and wouldn't actually cut through anything). Sooo. I buy it. I've managed to get it out of the packaging, and then--there's a safety lid. Well, good. Except it's STUCK on the thing. So I try to twist it off, and it just comes off with the blade. So I'm carefully trying to pull it off--and as you might have noticed, often when pulling things, your hand makes a slight jerk in the opposite direction when you're done.

Yeah. Well, it did. I cut through the fat tissue in my finger (not through the tendon, though), and it bled a LOT. Very creepy-looking. Bleck. Not to mention, I rode the bus out to the place where I was going, didn't have a cell phone, etc. So I was stuck there for about an hour and didn't get to a hospital until about two hours after I'd sliced it. Seriously; DEEP. It wouldn't stop bleeding, and it didn't help that it was right on a knuckle. I tend to bend my fingers a lot (typing, playing the piano, general movement), and so now I have a splint. Which I think doesn't actually keep the thing completely straight, but straight enough to keep it from bleeding a lot.

I realize I may sound like a total wimp, but this is the worst (physically) that's ever happened. And I also didn't bitch a lot about it at the time. Although it did hurt (especially whenever I moved it. Or put anything, like water, on it). Sooo, yeah. Not to mention that I'm inexplicably tired and yet cannot fall asleep.

Although I think that last bit has to do with my caffeine intake.

A poem that I made that is not very good

Posted 11-20-2008 at 01:41 AM by Palmoun

this is a poem that I made but I think it is not very good.

How Do you know when someone loves you? Do you know it when they hug you, kiss you or hold you. No you know it when you look into there eye's and see there feelings. That is when you know that they love you.
I miss it here, send a message to chat
