I am an atheist, I do not care what you say about this. Here is a quote I found from an intellectual who is very good at arguing religions.
“All great truths begin as blasphemies.”
-George Bernard Shaw
This is true, all religions are considered ridiculous and unbelievable at first, then people start buying into the lies, god did not create man, man created god as a way to explain the unexplainable, to have hope in situations that are dire, and so an and so forth.
This world has over a [thousand] infallible truths going strong today, though an extreme percentage of them are religions from people as the aborigines in secluded areas such as jungles and deserts, I HATE missionaries and the overzealous pricks who always ask me why I am an atheist and challenge my beliefs (or lack thereof) and try to CONSTANTLY prove me wrong or convert me. I have studied many of the major world religions, including Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, and Satanism. I have even studies a few of the less known religions such as paganism and a couple of the more secluded religions such as voodoo to make sure that I am correct in saying this again. There is no god. Religion is false hope for a better tomorrow, and that the closest religions to being believable is in fact Hinduism and Buddhism
I think that Buddhism and Hinduism are both good to an extent, and I praise Christianity for their qualities such as empathy and their organizations that help the needy, though we should have these anyways as good, moral human beings.
Here is another issue I have with people...
Their way is always the right way, they usually cannot use basic empathy and see the other sides of an argument. It is not a question of right or wrong, it is a question of morals and point of veiw.
We Kill cows because, though horses have better tasting and more tender meat, horses have been known to be intelligent and empathetic. Humans speak of murder from killing animals and such, but insects- even bacteria have life that you wish to eradicate. Everyone is a hypocrite in some sense, if you are Christian and wish to follow "thou shalt not kill" Stay away from disinfectants, don't buy fly swatters, bug zappers, insecticides, and become a vegetarian... oh, but wait, Plants have life too! So to be a good Christian one must starve themselves to death, or eat nothing but raw minerals and spring-water both of which can be extremely expensive unless you live near one or the other.
