I'm baaaaack~

Posted 07-10-2008 at 01:30 AM by Sammi

Ahh! I'm back on Mene and the blogs/journals are back up! I remember when the first version of Journals were out... I was making journal layouts for everyone! Everything looks so nice and clean... ^^ So, what to blog about?

Well, Mene has changed a lot, but I like it!! I hope I can get back in the swing of things and start making old and new friends immediately. I'm sure hardly anyone remembers me, though, and that's fine! I never really was "known" to begin with.

Bored.

Posted 07-09-2008 at 11:44 PM by Donna (Mumble Bumble ::)

It happened again last night.
Only it was worse because I was hella tipsy.
His voice is ringing in my ears.

We were supposed to hang out today but he has to work. :[ So I guess we're going to hang out tomorrow, the first time since it started. I'm going to feel so awkward being with him in person after this.

I suppose it could be worse. Okay, it could be a lot worse. But it could be better! He could just tell me he likes me and we could go out. xP
But he's bi-curious so he's checking out a bunch of men. It hurts a lot when he'll talk about how hot this or that guy is, but it would be a hell of a lot worse if it was girls he was talking about I guess. So I know I'm pretty much the only girl in his life. And then he'll ask me about what cute guys I've seen so I told him I saw an 8 at work who actually flirted with me. He was mad I didn't text him and was telling me I could have gotten that guy. I told him "I know" but all I was thinking was "I don't want him, I want you idiot."
I guess it's a good thing I'm pretty damn manipulative.

I think it's clear who wears the pants
What boy could stand a chance?
She makes it look easy, in control completely
She'll get the best of you every single time
You realize you should
Never underestimate a girl
She gets anything she wants
She's never going to stop
Never underestimate a girl
She's always got a plan
The world is in her hands.

Sorry. xD I bust out in random song.
And it just fits right now.

Mmkays so I lasted about five hours so far doing absolutely nothing. Another 8 to go before he gets home. :[

Late Start, Slow Day

Posted 07-09-2008 at 08:19 PM by EllipticalHorizons

Today I woke up at about 8 AM and went downstairs. It's not usually my decision to wake up that early, more the decision of the roofers who are outside smashing tiles and singing in Mexican. I hobbled downstairs and laid on the couch. Next thing I know I wake up and catch a glance at the clock. Immediately I think "no way, I did NOT sleep in this late!". The clock taunted me with 11:30 AM. Now for any usual teenager this wouldn't really be a huge thing, most people I know can sleep all day. For myself, I usually don't try to sleep the day away. I like to get up and watch television and maybe go for a walk. When I was finally finished eating a bowl of Mr. Noodles I came online to find James who was waiting for me. My heart sank when he told me he was worried from reading a post of mine. Sometimes I wish that people didn't have to worry about me all of the time, it gets hard knowing you're the cause of stress and worry in loved ones lives. Today is the day that I try to change things around. For real. I still have reocurring thoughts that could definitely tear me down and bring me back to where I was 2 months ago, but I know I can fight them. I really owe a lot of my own personal success to my friends and God. I believe at this point in my addiction God is the one fueling my fire and keeping my passion to succeed aflame. If I were to write a testimoney, I would most probably use bits and pieces from this very blog because it's the absolute truth. I swear.

Today I was planning on going to the mall to get something to eat but I can't seem to get out of this crippling slump I've experienced the last couple days. I think "Oh, who cares if I go out? There's nothing to do alone anyways." So I waste away infront of the computer typing up blogs, like this one.

Comfreak637's Rant on religion

Posted 07-09-2008 at 02:12 PM by Comfreak637

If you are offended by rants about religion, please skip this blog entry.

I am an atheist, I do not care what you say about this. Here is a quote I found from an intellectual who is very good at arguing religions.

“All great truths begin as blasphemies.”
-George Bernard Shaw

This is true, all religions are considered ridiculous and unbelievable at first, then people start buying into the lies, god did not create man, man created god as a way to explain the unexplainable, to have hope in situations that are dire, and so an and so forth.

This world has over a [thousand] infallible truths going strong today, though an extreme percentage of them are religions from people as the aborigines in secluded areas such as jungles and deserts, I HATE missionaries and the overzealous pricks who always ask me why I am an atheist and challenge my beliefs (or lack thereof) and try to CONSTANTLY prove me wrong or convert me. I have studied many of the major world religions, including Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, and Satanism. I have even studies a few of the less known religions such as paganism and a couple of the more secluded religions such as voodoo to make sure that I am correct in saying this again. There is no god. Religion is false hope for a better tomorrow, and that the closest religions to being believable is in fact Hinduism and Buddhism

I think that Buddhism and Hinduism are both good to an extent, and I praise Christianity for their qualities such as empathy and their organizations that help the needy, though we should have these anyways as good, moral human beings.

Here is another issue I have with people...

Their way is always the right way, they usually cannot use basic empathy and see the other sides of an argument. It is not a question of right or wrong, it is a question of morals and point of veiw.

We Kill cows because, though horses have better tasting and more tender meat, horses have been known to be intelligent and empathetic. Humans speak of murder from killing animals and such, but insects- even bacteria have life that you wish to eradicate. Everyone is a hypocrite in some sense, if you are Christian and wish to follow "thou shalt not kill" Stay away from disinfectants, don't buy fly swatters, bug zappers, insecticides, and become a vegetarian... oh, but wait, Plants have life too! So to be a good Christian one must starve themselves to death, or eat nothing but raw minerals and spring-water both of which can be extremely expensive unless you live near one or the other.

start a PM with me if you wish to counter my points, and if all I get is, You're wrong, stop badmouthing my religion, I will add you to my ignore list immediately, I do not care whomever you may be.

(P.S.- Watch the video on the following link before you begin questioning or debating with me, for I am tired of constantly answering the same questions.)
