well, I got a call from my boss and I need to go to work today.. atleast that knows more money this month. I have 3 days of work this week (that's a lot compared to normal).

Like satire and symbolism. I can't do satire like I can symbolism and often confuse the two when I try to use satire. I have this project for English to do that I'm doing bad on because of my inability to distinguish the two from each other.

Just.. grr.

4 more days of English and I can be done with it for the summer. 4 more days.

Okays so yesterday, I was catching up with everyone after work and after speaking with my father about random crap for a few hours. xD
Then I'm on not an hour online and my internet cuts off. I tried everything to fix it [it wasn't working on any computer in the house, and thanks to wifi, I also tried the only other person's internet I could since someone has an unsecured network a couple houses down. But their's wasn't working either and I kind of wonder if it was more than just our faulty cord. But my power will be shut off for most of Tuesday. Which sucks because that's my rest day to chill online. And that means I have to write my paper tonight and tomorrow after work because it's due Wednesday.

Today was my brother's birthday and Mother's day. How convenient. :eyeroll: xD
They were fighting over what to do at SeaWorld [where we went to celebrate] for much of the day and where to eat for dinner.
I went on Shipwreck Rapids and for the second time in my life, got hella soaked. Oh well, at least there was no one in line when we got on. Migui was screaming, and then dad took pictures of us wobbling around like penguins because we were soaking wet. We went to Black Angus for dinner and I had prime rib. Mmn. So good. x.x; Mum can't eat beef though and she didn't want the pork tenderloin so we were scavenging all over the damn menu for the hour we had to wait to get seats looking for something and she decided on seafood, prawns and crabcakes. Picked up some cookies for Mig's class tomorrow for his birthday, and went home. I never understood why YOU have to give all your class treats for YOUR birthday...especially when they don't give you anything. What's the point in that? Shouldn't they be giving YOU stuff? Haha. Whatever.
Now the kiddo's snoring over my music. Pshh.

I saw the announcement for the May event. Never seen that...no idea what happened. I hate hate HATE the way the front page is set up. I'm sorry, but LOATTTHEEEE. DDDDD< I have to scroll down to see the banners and the only the most recent announcement? And the Admin's pick isn't as much of a big deal, but really, whyyy must you guys torture us with that damn front page? Especially when I'm liking the rest of the site now better than before? ><
I think the art's wonderful, really, but it takes up too much of the damn screen. Go put it somewhere else. Or in the background. And push everything else up. PLEASSEEEE!
Or I'm never going to know what the hell's going on in the site.
You may say I'm too lazy to go searching all over the damn announcement forum for the most recent announcements but it'd be a HELL of a lot easier if people didn't post in them, then they'd be organized by date they were posted. Go post in the CD if you want to discuss it. Right now though, they're out of order, and since you can't tell from the front page anymore which five are most recent, you've got to go through them all or try to remember which ones you've seen or not. :/
I'm thoroughly disappointed in that.
I can imagine other's aren't pleased by it though.

I heard something about a new game? Is it one they're actually making this time and Mene related? Or another one just being added that they bo--I mean developed. :/

Hahah good luck in that new [I]challenge[/I]. It's called a challenge for a reason hun. :] I think for most people it would be. What's the significance of it? I would say that it may just be for you to be able to distinguish what is a horribly terrible avatar. I wonder if for the terrible avi contest that one person we were talking about, Seiki, will do a GOOD avatar. XDD That'd be hilarious. Oh wells.

I was talking with pops about photography and maybe getting a job in the field, at least something minimal for now and he told me to create a portfolio and send it out somewhere. Yeah, somewhere, that's the hard part. Where do I send it? :eyeroll: I could do news...but my photography doesn't usually fit newsworthy pictures. It's more geared toward nature. I'd love to do some wedding photos. Maybe if/when my cousin gets married later this year, I could take some amateur photos for an experiment of how well I'd do.
