This avatar is very nice, however, I feel like the blade takes over the avatar a tad bit. Replace the Ninja's Arsenal with a Jade Ronin katana perhaps? I love the color scheme and the idea very much, that one item just throws me off.
why you'd make a good judge: I have style, and I am really good at giving constructive criticism.

Sorry flea, I guess I should have put something more specific. I want the judge applicants to give me a critique so I can see how they do their judgings.

judging sample: (critique my current avatar - <lazy> it's your current: You have a lot of attire from the bee set. Even though it isn't a true set, and the items were released at various times, it has the common theme, bees, and like the pandas, its a bit excess of the same type of item. You have a large chunk of silver in the torso and the ninja thing only makes it worse. You need more of this silver on your head. You also have light blue and dark blue in the wig on your head which are no where else. Even though the avvie has appeal, its distribution and item use is some what bland. It has potential for more. You could try some sock layering and different shoes (if you add in another color it could work easier as well), as well as more neck layering, because the neck does look empty. You could try a hairpin, that moon with the blue gem that hangs down would work if you are again adding in more color from the wig. Black and blue striped bracelet (from halloween event), earrings of sorts to fill in the gap at your neck. also needs a bit more white at the neck, because your white and silvers mix quite a bit but you have no white on your neck. <too lazy for more>
why you'd make a good judge: i'm a harsh rater who makes suggestions. fun stuff.

This is a very complex avatar, and it mostly all goes together to work well, however, it could be streamlined by perhaps taking out a few of the items as it is a tad cluttered. The ninja star in particular unbalances the torso. It ads too much silver and makes it look unbalanced. I almost want to put a little stick there to prop it up. Some of your yellows are slightly off and you could stand to get rid of some of the bees, in particular the floating bees. They clutter and don't seem to add all that much to the avatar itself. I'd like to maybe see some white on the neck and a little more on the legs. I feel like just cutting back on the number of items you have would just tidy the avatar up a bit and stop that feeling of falling over.
8/10
why you'd make a good judge: I've observed the judges throughout cycle five along with learning more about what makes a good avatar. After completing a cycle as a contestant I think I know what an avatar needs to stand out in Project Mene and how to critique objectively.

At a glance, yours is a very appealing avatar, but when concentrating on detail there are some flaws. The yellow of the belt and the gloves is brighter than the bee items, and you I think you should have explored some ways to get that lighter blue that is on the wig into your avatar. The ninja weapon throws it off for me, it leaves the avatar looking unbalanced. It would have been a better avatar if this was taken off, but with so much silver/ grey on the skirt and on the zombie face, silver is needed in the middle to even it out. I'm not quite sure of the white handkerchief either, when you do have the space skirt there.
I do think it's overall an excellent avatar, and well done on using an original colour scheme!

I participated in the last round, and despite being eliminated pretty early in the round, I learned a lot. Like not to be too adventurous :L . I watched the rest of the round and I feel I know how to judge appropriately, and what to look for when judging. I know myself I always appreciated judging that told me where I went wrong, what I could have done to make it better and what was good about it, so I'd follow that through and judge in that way if I were chosen.

A very interesting combination indeed, I haven't seen anything like it before. I do like the recurring frills and hearts that are shown throughout the avatar, yet paired with the black "devilish" items, I can see that it has a very dark demeanor. To be honest, it's not something I'd usually pick, and though it may be original, I would pass over it. I love the tattoo paired with the horns and anklewings, as well as the spiky hair poking out that seem to also complement the theme. The one thing that bothers me is the lower area combination - the chaos armor bugs me as it's a different gray from the rest and has white on it, while the others don't, and the pink aurora skirt looks horrible. I love the shape, but it doesn't go at all with the outfit. Also the random bits of silver are a bit irritating.
I would recommend changing some things to make it better. For the most part, the head is fine, though I may add some silver (such as the moonlit laurels). At the torso, I would add a silver pocket watch, and change the white skirt to the pink space skirt. I would also take away the chaos armor and change the pants to the Lovely Black Bloomers. I would also keep the red stockings, but change the socks to pink striped tube socks, teal ankle socks, silver tribal anklets, and the regrets steps.
(Phew!)

Well, because I'm me! Haha, no really, because I'm not a suck up and I'm not going to sugar coat everything. And let's be honest, you need that every now and then. :]
Oh, and maybe because I understand the whole competition of course. xD

...think that's it. Oh.
I may have to drop out should work prevent me from my duties.

I have to say, this avatar is quite surprising. It is very well balanced and very unique! There are a few color discrepancies, but these do not damage to overall effect. The only complaints I have is the ankle wings. You seem so bottom heavy with the skirts that the ankle wings seem like over kill. Perhaps use silver anklets, and black shoes? But I absolutely adore the head. The make up I usually detest looks amazing!

why you'd make a good judge: I am a stickler about balance, color coordination, and unique styles and outfits. If something is not working, I will tell them. But I'm not such a hardass that I'll kill them in their score if their avatar is still killer. I also give non-inflated grades. 5/10 IS an average outfit score. 10 is if they are perfect. If they have an outfit that does not work in the least, they will not receive a "7/10, keep working".

The color combination on this avatar is quite interesting. On first impression, it's very nice.
The first thing I'd re-consider, though, is the green
crown/tiara. It's pretty obvious that the shade does not match and a different combination would be better(if no good hats are available, you may want to make the hair green and have a purple head accessory. The green in the roses' leaves
are also not the correct shade, but with small details it may be easier to keep it in that way since your avatar has a flowery/spring element to it.
Otherwise, your avatar is very well balanced.
8/10

why you'd make a good judge: I have been and still am an Avatar Chat regular in every avatar site I join, so I'm hardly new to this thing. Because of that, I've gotten a very good understanding of balancing items on avatars - both for colors/shades and 'weight' distribution. I have a sense of style that adds to my rating without being biased. Also, I've participated in this competition in the past and know how it works. xD

As usual your avatar is a burst of colors. I always loved this about your avatars. Now considering that this is a contest however I am going to be slightly nit picky. Overall I find the avatar is well balanced but a few of the items throw me for a loop. The shoes being the first item. I can in fact understand where you have chosen them for this outfit because they are the only shoes that come close to the greens you used in the rest of the outfit the gold throws the outfit off slightly as it is most definately a gold where as the rest of your outfit is yellow. The second item to me that is a bit off is the Green headband. This green is off of the rest of the greens you have going in the outfit. The only other place where you see this is in the leaves around the rose on your ankle but the proportion is off enough to throw the greens out of proportion. Overall I find I really like this outfit however, and so I docked a few points for those littles things. Overall I give you 7.5/10.
why you'd make a good judge: Where as I am often times not very good at being objective about my own peices. I find that I have a knack for looking at other peoples works objectively. I am also not tied to any people on the site in particular and therefore am not bias. I also was in project mene so I know how it runs, and how much contestants hate waiting for reviews....I could be as quick as a kitten xP
