Cecilia, from what I read from the wonderful source known as wikipedia, the colors are supposed to be representative of dried corn, particulary indian corn. xD And they are also supposed to be approximately the size of a kernal of corn... xD
That is somewhat interesting.
xD Candy pumpkins make for sense though.

Will your Grandpa be doing any storytelling for the event? ^^
