How nifty! Did you know that Valentine's Day and the first day of the Lunar New Year fall on the same day this year? Wow! It's the year of the Lion-Dog this year - so that explains why the Empress of the Dainae Empire sent us some lovely Lion-Dog guardians to say 'thank-you' for the gifts of baked goodies we worked so hard to send the other islands during the Festival of Winter Nights!

Only! Only something awful happened on the way! The Lion-Dog couple were on a ship that was attacked by horrible people calling themselves Lust and Envy and those terrible nasties turned the poor Lion-Dogs into statues! How awful!

Thankfully, our resident magical expert (that's Abel to you!) says if he gathers enough warm fuzzies from everyone, he can turn those heartbeats into a magical potion of some kind! So I want everyone to get out there and earn some Hearts! If you trade them to me, I'll give you event gifties to say thank-you! If you give them to Li Mei, she'll turn them into Red Packets, which you can use to buy things from the Special Event Store! If we all work together, we'll show those big meanies not to mess with us!

To make your heart go all pitter-patter, we have lots of lovely games and contests stickied to the top of the Contests and Giveaways event forum! Or you can visit Town Hall's many rooms and just relax in the Hangouts and Chatter event forum! Of course, if you're being all Scroogy and don't want to participate in the event forums, you can still earn Hearts in other forums. *giggle*

And Lise has decided to play games with you guys! You can light Firecrackers which will turn into extra Hearts - or you can play a game of Chance and hope to win up to 20 Hearts in one game! Wow!

OOps! I almost forgot to tell you about the new event commons. *giggles*

Remember to go to the Special Event Store and buy these right away! They're half-price during the event! So an item that costs 100 gold now will cost 200 after the event, okay? So it's a really good deal! And, of course, if you trade Hearts to Li Mei you can get Red Packets and use those instead of gold, so you'll get them for free! Neat, huh?

These sets are inspired by kodona and sweet lolita styles - though with the color choices at your disposal, you don't have to look 'sweet' if you don't like to! Mix and match to get the look you like!



A host of exotic clothes from far away lands! Supposedly, those who live on the islands of Typhon and Kiyo (which are part of the Dainae Empire) dress in clothes like this. Aren't they pretty? They're so colorful too! You're bound to find something you like!

I am very lucky to have a break from school next week so I can get on and earn lots of gold/hearts/red packets to buy lots of commons!
