Well bartuc has a possible truth that this would cause more spamming, though I do like it in the sense it is similar to the benifits of the old events, where we got event currency due to posting.

I dunno, I think it would just make more people show up on CI day, rather than spam their hearts out-- but perhaps I am naive. :lol: It's not like when you see a new member make 5 threads in General Discussion: "What's your favorite color? What's your favorite dog?" etc. It's more of a timing thing, a reward for people who have been around awhile and understand how Menewsha works.

Is the gold bonus still going on? :) I had my granddad's birthday yesterday and spent the day with him.

Anyways, this is a nice idea. After see some of the posts and realizing spam would come about. Then again, Menewsha has an anti-spam policy, right? So wouldn't those people lose the gold they earned anyways.

Then again, it would encourage people to post more on the site, but only for one particular day. :S

Awesome! I noticed the gold cap per post had also gone up...I got around 40g or something in an RP post earlier. It's kind of weird seeing how much gold I earn from a not-very-big post...:XD

I like the idea, since it's only for 24 hours I don't think it'll cause too much of an inflation problem in the Marketplace...I like how there's so much more activity during the period, even if it's only for one day. :sweat:

Oh neeato. :) Yall always have the nifftiest ideas on here. So once a month if all goes well we get a surge on our post earning if we are hanging out chatting when we get new stuff its like a cherry for the top of a great shake..you guys rock. :)

as much as i like earning more gold.... i think that this is overly complicated and kinda feel bad for putting you to that much trouble for something like a wee bit more gold. i think that if you want to do it, thats super cool, but i dont want to put you to any trouble over it. its not like your getting paid overtime for it... or at all really... so i think that if its too troublesome after the trial that its ok if you never do it again.

Sounds like a fun idea actually, you'll just have to keep an eye out for spam and things like that.

I highly doubt it. Menewsha is a better social network and I hardly ever see spam unless its a newbie. And this is once a day and everyones time zones are different, so, only reoccuring members who can be online will get the opportunity.

Spammers have never been welcomed here and are always caught. xD There were no mishaps when Jelly started it and activity has improved now even if the gold increase is gone. It helped mene be active again if anything.
