First off, happy new year everyone!

So after a night of celebrating the new year, I woke up (rather late) to find my phone going nuts with alerts that Mene was down. I quickly fixed the "issue" from my phone before getting out of bed, only to have it die ten minutes later *sigh* After a bit of fiddling, I realized the server needed a physical kick (virtual kick just wasn't working) so I drove down to the data center to fix the issue.

As you can tell from this post, the fix appears to have gone well. However, it's possible the old Mene server has found the new one and gone into a hissy fit rage and is trying to get revenge for being replaced (a woman scorned...) So just to warn everyone, if the site randomly dies, there is a hardware issue. If that's the case, it might take me some time to debug and fix whatever is causing the failure(s).

Hopefully I'm wrong and the server recovers just fine though :)

I'm hoping it recovers just fine as well.

Inso - I just want to say you are amazing for driving down to fix it on your new years day! We all understand that stuff happens and we are happy it's back :) But we are super grateful to have you as our wonderful owner because you care so much <3

I was wondering... but glad to see that it's back up and running! And now that we know we are better fit for if it does chrash again. Thanks Inso, and we know that it's not your fault. :)

thanks for fixing it so quickly! i was worried that some thing might have happened like that and then when it was down for so long i began to get worried that something was wrong with you! im glad your ok though!

The fact that you CAN fix such things from your phone normally just makes you something of a god, Inso. *bows to*
