Long Time Gold Issue
 

For a long time, I've had about 6k gold that came out of no where. It wasn't from a trade, and there was no donation message since the person did not leave me a message if it had been donated. I posted a thread about this a few (?) months ago, a bit after the 2k gold link we had been given to make up from the fishing glitch, and was told that it would be looked into( and since then, I haven't had any notification about it). I've felt really anxious about it for a while now and have been wondering if it was fine to do anything with the gold or if it would be deleted any day, mostly because I can't find the thread or any answer about it.

Is it alright if I transfered/used/donated the gold to another account? I'm not sure at all of the source, and I don't want anyone or myself losing their account(s) over this. If not possible/it's from botting, etc, could it be removed from my account?

Well, it shouldn't be from botting if you yourself weren't botting. If you made a thread about this a while ago, perhaps you should check to see if that thread had gotten an answer and you just missed it? If it didn't get a response from the staff, I'd suggest PMing an Admin or an Assistant Admin about this issue.

The problem with going back and checking the thread is that I think it might have been deleted or something, since I'm pretty sure I posted a thread before May 08. Edit: I also checked my Threads Started and it had every other thread but my gold-issue one.
It did get a response from staff, and they said it would be looked into.

I'm nervous about PMing an admin/assistant, mostly if the thread was already answered but was removed before I checked back on it.

At the time of the gold glitch (was it the fishing one?) there was no way to see who gave a donation if they choose not to leave a message. (well for a normal user anyway, staff could see but I don't know if the log I can see goes back that far. ^^;; )

However I checked your other thread, and Kale said she would have Ken look into it. I suggest sending a PM to an AA to see if anything happened with it before spending the gold. ^^;; Don't be afraid to PM them. They're all sweeties. <3
