Layering with MAC (is it accurate?)
 

Hi there! Just joined yesterday actually, but I thought I'd jumpstart ahead on making my future avi using the MAC. Although, I have a question about the accuracy of the MAC's item layering.

Is the layering on the MAC 100% accurate? I'm just checking, since some stockings can layer under socks, shorts/pants under skirts, and etc.

Seeing as Mene has yet to be able to preview items before you buy them on the stores, I just wanna make sure that the avi I made on MAC is possible. xD Gold is harder to come by here, so I wouldn't want to waste my precious gold for something I can't even wear the way I had intended. xD Plus, take Gaia's Tektek for example. It's not 100% accurate, and that has given me problems cause of it. =|

I believe the MAC is meant to be approximately 90% accurate right now, as I think some new layers were created or layers were moved around a little on some items since the September 5th update.

Your best bet is to go to the Avatar Chat forum and into the sub-forum for 'quick questions', post your MAC avatar and ask someone with those items to double-check that they do layer the way you want for them to. :) People are happy to help.

Yeah, it's fairly accurate, but I change things about in the layers, and then have to tell Springy what I've changed, and I don't always remember :ninja: But the majority is correct :)

Stockings do layer under socks, yes :yes: Also, ankle socks can be worn over the top of the longer socks. We have LOTS of layers on here :lol:
