Hi, I'm Moongrave's new one-and-only mule for Insane Cricket's cricket army, and while I'm currently at home, I do have a question regarding dorm rooms and IPs as I will shortly be returning to my dorm and want this to be all cleared up before I go back so no problems surface.

I share a shoebox (hurhurhur) with one other person, and while I'm quite sure she doesn't use Menewsha, I was wondering if entire floors or dorm rooms share the same IP?

If so, that may present a problem for me. I don't know anyone else in my dorm who uses Menewsha but I'm sure at least one or two exist. I certainly don't want them and myself to be banned over not knowing we all/both use Menewsha while living in the same dorm!

Could someone clear this up for an IP-newb like myself?

Staff is good at distinguishing if more than one person on the same IP is the same person. They'll usually look into it if needed. But I really think you'll be okay. Considering the chances are doubtful that anyone else in your dorm is going to be getting on Menewsha. Unless you tell them about it. If the problem were to arise, you'd just need to clarify things up with Community Management. Which I'm most definite that they'd understand.

I don't know much about IPs, but I'm sure they differ from computer to computer. I could be wrong though.

Your IP would more than likely indentify itself as being a college one anyway, so even if we didn't know, as soon as we checked it we'd see you were sharing with other students and not on some massive multi-accounting spree :)
