Is it bad to get a warning...?
Is it bad that I've already got warnings for double posting?
I didn't mean to because i thought i was replying to a different post and then sometimes i get really carried away with reading what someone has written i forget ive already written something and end up posting another post? also i tend to get my threads in the wrong places..does anyone else have these problems? |
it isn't a good thing to do again ^^;
you get banned when you rack up enough warning points. everyone usually gets one or two before they get into the swing of things, just try to be more careful :3 |
What you received was a newbie misdemeanor. It's not a normal infraction in that it does not add any infraction points against your account. It's more of a reminder to read the rules and be more careful about following them. These are given to newer accounts.
The best advise I can give you is to try to be more mindful of where you post and remember to edit your posts if you'd like to add to a thread where no one else has posted after you. :) |
Just thought I would pop in here to add that if you realize you have double-posted by accident (in spite of trying not to), you can hit the ! button for the second post to report it and get it merged.
