No gold?
So, I just posted a fairly long message in the Anime/Manga discussion forum. It took me quite some time to type out too. But, I didn't get any gold from it?:o
Is there a limit to how long a post can be before it's counted as spam or something and you don't get any gold? Or are some forums non-gold granters? or did i just not get gold? :( http://www.menewsha.com/forum/1764713367-post66.html Thats the post. I went from have 129.30 gold to 129.30 gold. |
Random, you might have checked a your gold count at the wrong time if you do a quick reply or an advanced post.
And the only forum I know of that does not give gold for posts is the Word Games forum... |
I had a page open from before i posted the message, and my gold was at 129.30. Cos i thought 'Ok. Lets see how much i get from this one..i'll round my current gold up to 130, and then work it from there'. =/

Sometimes if you make a long post--worth 20 gold--you don't always get the gold for it. That was a problem in the RP forum (it may still be), and I was having problems with it in the writing forum. Something that I tried was editing my post; even if you don't actually change it, just saving your "edit" may get your gold to where it's supposed to be.

I did edit my post earlier, But i didn't get the gold granted for it. I guess i better just forget and move on. *pout* |
Sometimes it does help to change it.. even if you just add a color to it.

Hm.. That is strange.
Being an RPer.. I'd mastered squeezing gold from non gold granting posts.. I've not yet come across one that hasn't actually worked. That is quite sucky xD Sorry that I couldn't be much more help then. |
